I've been called by this # for two weeks straight non-stop. I'm not old enough for college and my parents aren't looking for colleges so I don't know why it keeps calling me.

just got a call from them today didnt pick up and they didnt leave a message they called around nine at night i was watching phelps swim im not gonna pick up some number i dont know

I did register at college bound to see about enrolling in a masters program.  This is the number that called me back and they were actually very helpful.  There is at least some legitimacy to them.

If you get a call from this number just try and call it back. MOst good reps leave a message but some just have to keep dialing. If you don't want to be called by this number then don't put your information online. If you have logged on looking for schools then they will give you follow-up call. Just pick up and either say "I'm not interested" and don't be a jerk about it, or say I am interested. They helped me find some pretty cool schools that I did not know were out there. THERE TO HELP!!! That's all.
BTW if you put your info online for something you aren't sure about...then you deserved to be called a thousand times. They aren't spamming or scamming you...be nice, be polite, and they will remove you from the list you, YOURSELF, put you on.

Just got a call from this #. No message left! Glad to have found this site. Like the most of people here, I am not nor WAS I searching for a college or signed onto any college sites or entered any of my information online for college!!!! I'm currently in college...one where I did not find ONLINE. I believe its a scam. Who ever says they're helpful, must be working there!!!

They are from a company that markets about 5 different schools/programs.  If you signed up looking for a school or a program online that is where they got your number.  If you call them back and tell them you found a school locally they stop calling.  Good luck

Get calls every 3-4 hours...no message left.  Called back from my blocked home number and asked for their company name, lady said that there are MANY companies. She asked for my name, I told her to give me a name of at least one of the companies she said Health Care group (very generic) and College Bond Students Services.

Left no message, second received phone call without identifing themselves

I got a call from this number for the first time today. I didn't answer. But they left about a 2 minute long message of just background noise and heavy breathing.
I called back and got a message that said "Thanks for calling our marketing department"
When a real person picked up, I hung up (lol)
then they called right back!

From these previous posts, it seems that it's some kind of college betworking thing?
I've been attending the same college for 3 years, I haven't requested information from anyother colleges. I don't even thing my current college has my cell phone number.

I've recieved a few calls from this number. I have NO idea who they are..they also sent me a text message asking me to call.

Actually...I just now called this number...and it's for College Bound Network...I had recently checked out some colleges on line..and evidently, they must pass on your info to this company, who then follows up to see if the colleges that you inquire about, had contacted you.  I simply stated that I didn't want to be on their call list, and to take me off.
 Done...so it was easy to fix.

I got a call at 6pm from this number. They didn't leave a message. I called the number back and got a marketing department. The number called me back 5 mins later and left a message saying they were a college fund group. I have not recently been to any college websites or talked to anyone about colleges so I believe this phone number is some kind of scam.

This number has been calling me nonstop for the past two days and every time I tell them to take me off their calling list yet I am still receiving calls from them. They call at early hours of the morning and are wasting my minutes because every time I pick it up to tell them to stop calling. Obviously they do not update their records because if they did they would see that I told them to stop calling 5 times now.

This number has called me numerous times and i don't recogonize the number so i don't answer. i haven't tried calling it back because my cell phone is pre-paid.

Just received TWO calls from them in less than 5 minutes.  I asked them to not call again, but they quickly told me that it was about information I requested about the Art Institute of New York.  I did request information from them and already received it....months ago.
Asked to not be called again and explained number is on national do not call list.  They told me that each individual company has their own list.  That may be the case but they need to check it against the national list.

I just got off the phone with these guys. I did fill out a web inquiry about continuing adult education. The gal I spoke with was respectful and polite. She did ask when I would prefer to be called. I suspect this is a call center service for collegebound network. I am the first to post harrassment and 'spam' call here but if you answer and say you've changed your mind they will take you off their call list. I know because their affiliates started calling me the minute I filled out the online form and I told them I was no linger interrested. They have not called back.

Got to love these planted messages in here obviously from College Bound trying to sound legit.  They said I filled out info on their website.  I'd never even heard of them, never mind been to their - or any other college website.  If they are for real then why hide the caller id?  Why not leave a message

Called my cell phone and did not leave a message. Tried calling it back, and was given a Verizon message saying my call could not be completed as dialed.
