Someone from this number has called me several times/day for weeks! Who is it?

It is the Indiana State Trooper's Association and they are calling to raise money. They have a bank of callers and sometimes the calls don't go through and then someone else calls back until it gets taken off their list for that drive time, if you donate they will call every time they need a donation, which recently is about every 4-6 months. It's supposed to be for deceased state trooper's families and children.

OK, Lisa, you are wrong wrong wrong about one thing. It is NOT a non-profit organization in any way shape or form. That is why if you donate anything it is NOT tax deductible. They pay for the "costs of the fund drive" and legally should tell you that when your on the phone with them. That means if you donate, only about 4% will go to fallen officer's family and the rest goes to pay for the electricity bill for them to run all the equipment there that they use to call you with. Not to mention to pay the person you're talking to, and the guy who runs the place. This is the highest form of a "sounds-like" charity scam. Avoid them.
PS. They will call you every 4 weeks regardless of whether you donate or not. I like to mess with them and tell them I will donate, then I don't. They even try to call you back to hound you for the donation. It's so funny when you're bored to mess with them. Make them waste their time like they waste yours.
