I've been getting this call for almost a month also I've been living in Vancouver almost 3 yrs and it never happened to me before. what the heck is that ? it's super annoying i never pick up the phone. im just wondering if i answer that call are they going to stop calling me ?

It's a scam. Related to the automated UPS messages about a package your (presumably) ordered that cleared customs with fees to pay. They threaten to use a collection agency.

Called at work repeatedly at my number (I just arrived, back then). We absolutely do not deal with UPS at all (even for receiving), which raised initial suspicion.

Call type should be: scam.

These calls are still happening. Got called at a public line at work. But I only get silence.

Just gets the friends/fambly on yur cellphone and forward their calls to the police station - that will end their calls, no???

Called RMS and said they wanted to talk to a mr "mc cloud ca" press 1 to continue.

I always got a call from 18663004522 for no reason, which is really annoying.

I get one to two calls a day from RMS from different states and different phone numbers.  They clearly state they are calling to 'reduce my debt'.  I tell them I am on the 'do not call registry' and they say it does not apply to them because they are federally required to make the call and inform me of their services.  I've threatened to report them and sue them and have instructed them to remove me from their call list.  I can't block the calls because it's always a different number.

How can I get RMS to stop calling. I don't know who they are nor what they want. Once, I finally answered and the connection shut off. They call sometimes twice a day. Mostly in the morning around 8, sometimes around 17h.

I have been getting a call to my work for the past 6 months at least once or twice a week. My co-workers have just ignore the call but they keep calling back. I have tried to press one to speak to them and they have left me on hold for more than 30 minutes. I don't know why they keep calling, I don't owe them anything. It's really becoming annoying and to boot I don't even know how the heck they got my work number!

They called me and my family in the United States asking for me. They (RMS) also mailed me a letter all in French, with a box in the bottom to put my credit card number. They claimed I owed them $40 for a UPS package that I had already paid for when it arrived. I called the number on the RMS website to sort this all out and they claimed to not have my name or phone number on file. I was sure it was a scam and after they called my grandmother who lives 800 miles away, asking for me again. Then I called the Canadian Anti-Fraud Center and filed a complaint, and I recommend everyone who's in the same situation do the same (or the FTC if you're in the states).

Some machines keeps calling our comapany a few times a day saying that we owe money to UPS.
I called UPS and they say our account is clear and they admit that RMS is their collection agency.
I finally could contact RMS but the only thing they are interested in is to collect detailed information about you. They are very rude and insulting. I can't believe UPS works with these A holes.

then forward call to RMS or UPS so they( can listen to them selves :-)
Make sure that RMS number is only one on friends and family list plus other annoying callers

These people at the 866 300 5422 number are idiots.  They have no record of my number calling them, yet their stupid system constantly calls!

I am getting calls from this number, this to this forum, I read the posts and called directly UPS. found that they had billed me for a shipment o Baghdad from a address where I don't live any more.  The rep was smart enough to figure that it was UPS mistake of wrong billing and sent a note to accounting dept to adjust the amount. and bill to correct customer.

it's me again.  I tried to look into this further.  I finally mentioned it to a guy at Total Debt Freedom.  He called me back inside an hour.  He found out it's the last Primus bill.  Its paid by a cheque, but they only take internet payments or payments at the bank.  I mailed Primus a detailed letter.  I received all my bills by email, why didn't they email me to let me know I had forgotten all about paying the last bill.  Instead they gave the collection agency my cell number.  AND interesting - the TDF guy told me he chewed them out royally for unethical business practices.  Breaking all the collection rules.  RMS collection agency or UPS collections, same place.  And not to phone me again.

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone for months.  usually 3 or 4 a day.  No matter which button I press I don't get anyone.  The machine just keeps talking.  Driving me nuts.  I have to get to the bottom of this.  will try the stuff listed above by others.

Got 3 calls from RMS' automated centre today.  They are trying to collect money on behalf of UPS or somethinglike that and they want me to pay something even though I don't owe anything and the product was shippedto me nearly 8 months ago.

Don't call them back.  This is a scam to get money from you and you will never understand why it is due but they will try t make you feel like you owe it.

I used UPS several months back and was as certain as possible everything was all paid up, though with them it's hardly possible to know.

After months of quiet later, I started receiving phone messages, supposedly from UPS, saying that I had outstanding debt and if it wasn't taken are of there'd be an "interruption in service". Riiiiight. Frankly, I received no invoice in the mail, which UPS will normally do, and without that I'm not about to act on it.

For the last two weeks my phone has been ringing early AM, and later in the evenning, only ghost calls and the number is blocked.

This afternoon I picked up the phone and an automated message told me it was RMS, spelled out a name that I don't recognize and provided an account number which I wasn't prepared to take down.

After searching for their number online, I found this place and read a mixed bag of messages saying it's a scam or some people really did have outstanding debt, which is not unusual with their dishonest practices.

Since I did use them so many months ago I figured it was their typical BS hidden fee after the fact schtick and despite no invoice, with a collections agency calling me, I decided to call UPS and check.

I pressed 0 for customer service because it wasn't one of their 5 options. I asked them to check my phone number against their files to see if I had anything outstanding. They checked and replied that in fact there was nothing at all outstanding.

I explained about the calls I'd been getting and she immediately asked me if I knew of a brandon cardasian. I do not. "We must have the wrong number then".

This is odd because it doesn't coincide with her original answer per my request to check their records against my phone number when apparently nothing at all came up.. suddenly plenty comes up.

I asked if the calls will now stop, and she said she would advise them of their error.

They best get their act together because this whole thing reeks. As far as I'm concerned it's a scam phonecall but from a legit company. Hence the confusion. I mean for each complaint here that said the call was legit and they did have outstanding debt with them (which is only born of their bogus business practices anyway), there sure are a lot of reports here that had the wrong number~! At some point it's no longer a coincidence. What's the intent then, harass people with calls incessantly and extort money to make it stop? If they get caught? ooooops... wrong number. Convenient.

This company is the bottom feeders of the collection agency parasitic world. They probably make $.50 an hour collecting these tiny amounts

Its RMS which is the collection wing for UPS. If you owe UPS money, chances are it will be these guys who end up calling you.....and they don't stop! They have an automated system that will call on a fairly regular basis until you pay whatever it is you may owe or block the number so you don't have to hear from them anymore.

This number keeps calling, when I press "2" to speak to someone it rings busy...getting very annoyed with this, this has become harrasment.

I just moved to Canada and they started calling me the first morning a got a phone. Eventually I called back and asked them to stop. Some dushbag told me my number wasn't in the list and hang up. Hopefully they have stoped now.
