I had Sirius several years ago and had purchased the service "for life".  After using it for 2 years, I had a car accident, after which I was told that I could not use the service again since the car was a total loss.  After a great deal of arguing, I was told that I could obtain the service for free if I used it at home (I was no longer driving).  After going back and forth over exactly which unit I wanted to buy (many were not in stock), I ended up not going through with it and believing that I had been bamboozled.  I few days ago, I got a call from a collector for Sirius that my bill was late and I owed money.  When I told them I had purchased a lifetime use agreement and believed that I was actually the one owed the money, they told me that I would have to contact customer service.  Since then, I get calls every day and now they are e-mailing me.  I had a credit report done recently and there was no outstanding charge on my account.  Why all of a sudden am I getting these calls?  Very strange AND annoying.

I just called the number back after geting epeated calls from this number with no message left. They answered "Hi, this is Sirius Satellite Radio and your call may be monitored"....I then hung up.  So it is legit.  Our satellite service isset to expire and we ignored 2 renewal notices. My guess is they are trying to save the account and offer you a better deal to renew.

I have been getting calls from these people too, and they insist that I need to give them a credit card number to renew my subscription. I went on the Sirius website and called their contact number, and the lady renewed my account without me having to give her my credit card number, and she told me that phone number was not them. There is no reason they would need you to give them your credit card number again, if it was really them they have it on file already! Never, ever, EVER give your credit card to someone who calls you on the phone!

I actually called this number yesterday to get them to STOP calling me, I have one of the original dash mount radio's in my car and I pay on a month to month basis...I checked my account and had it up on the computer while I was talking to them, and I had a $0.00 balance.  The first woman I spoke with agreed that it must be an error and she would remove me from the call list, put me on hold so she could "arrange it" and i got disconnected.....So I called back to make sure.   The NEXT woman tells me I have and internet subscription that hasn't been paid since July 2009.....REALLY??? then why isn't that on my account page on the sirius website..Her response was....It is billed from a separate division..REALLY??? Ok, how come i've never rec'd a bill from this separate division???....I've NEVER used it over the internet and I want the calls to stop.....she hung up on me, and today already I've rec'd 2 calls from them.

This seems like a scam....a bad one

I traded in a car that had a Sirius radio built in.  The new car that I bought has a 6 month free subscription.  Therefore, I canceled the old subscription and when the 6 months free subscription ends I will sign up for the new Sirius receiver.  I have explained this to Sirius repeatedly but they continue to call several times per day.  Very annoying!

these guys seem to be involved in some shenanigans. the few times that i have spoken with them they were very unprofessional and inconsistent - i would get one story from one person regarding my account and then another story from another person. i also get email saying something to the effect of "urgent - second notice!" when it was only my first notice. i don't think they are on the level at all and if it were not for "liquid metal" and "the boneyard" i would never do business with an outfit like this. the service came with a leased vehicle so my subscription will be done when i turn the vehicle in. buh bye sirius...

Have already received 3 calls from this number today approximately 2 hours apart and this is getting rediculous....if the phone number belongs to us we should not have to put up with this from someone who thinks they have the right to invade our private lives....wish this type of calling would be stopped

Sirius called me today also about my account.  Dial America does there renewal subcriptions so that is who is calling you.  I asked the guy for the main number to Sirius and I quizzed him about all my information about my account (my address, password, etc.)..if he  would have got 1 wrong then would have been a problem. He told me of my account being up to date and last months payment didnt go through.  Its a legit call. But yes Dial America can be a bit more customer service friendly.  But of course I will check my account with Sirus radio to verify.

A caller from this number told my husband that there was a problem with the credit card that I had renewed with last week.  He wanted my husband to give him the credit card number & he wouldn't, so the guy said he'd call back & talk to me.  I checked my Sirius account and my credit card account and the payment went through the day after I renewed.  I called the Sirius number on the letter I renewed from & told them about the call - he said never give out your credit card to someone who calls, that our account is good for a year, & they will investigate the call.

I also have sirius so it may be them calling ...just FYI to everyone - if it is Sirius they have also sent me two emails about my account.  The emails make it seem like their service is about to expire.  I called to check my account because i pay by the year and it didn't seem possible that a year had passed.  Sure enough my account isn't due until May 2010.  I love their service but the recent behavior is disturbing.

I've been getting calls from this number twice a day every day for the past 10 days! My Sirius account is about to expire, so it makes sense that it is Sirius calling.  However, it is annoying as heck that they don't even bother to leave messages.  I, too, don't pick up on numbers I don't recognize, but would be happy to call back if it's a legitimate call.  In this case, since they don't bother to let me know what it's about, they won't be hearing back from me.

I have recieved a call from this # everyday for the last 3 days. All at different times (9:46 am, 7:01 pm and 10:49 am). I DO NOT have Sirius nor does anyone else that lives here, so I don't know why they're calling. When I answered it today (I don't normally answer when I don't know the #), the prerecored message said something about them being "sorry they missed my call and they'll call back later" then it hung up on me. When I called the # back, I got a message saying that the call "could not be completed with the access code you dialed".
