AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, They have called me 7 times, seriously today! All within 5 hours! qwhat is going on??

make that the third time today but somebody actually responded, probably should have played along and inquired for more info, but all I could do is laugh, say okay and hang up....

This number has called me three times today, i didnt answer the first two times because i was at work. They left no message. So i called back, got a busy signal. Then they just called me again, i answered and they hung up.

Called twice and left no messages.  Called back and got busy signal...be careful of this number, they are certainly trying to pull off some scam.  I was also told that they may also be trying to clone a phone signal while keeping you on the phone and not responding....

This number has been calling me for almost a week.  Most of the time I have been in school or at work and not been able to answer.  But once or twice I have answered but no one is there.  They have never left a message and if I call back it is always busy.  I have also noticed that a lot of big companies, or other places with several extensions use numbers that are close.  I called a bunch of the numbers around it i.e. 18663146950, , 56, 58... and the only thing I found were several conference call numbers and a Verizon conference number.

I just got a missed call from 866 314 6957 as well and when i tried to call back it was busy

They called me and they said they were from a Marketing firm in MOntana and they asked me if I held a credit card of which they named several.  I hung up and they have called me back 4 times since!

A guy called me from this number yesterday and said "Hi, Kelly?" It was as if he knew me. I was busy so I didn't even ask who it was, I just said "Hey, I'm busy right now, can you call me back in 5 or 10 minutes?" But he never did. So I googled the number to see where it came from and I find that it seems to be a scam of some sort. What I can't figure out is how they knew who I was, and based on what many others have written they just call people and hang up. What's the point of calling and hanging up? Very strange.

This number 866-314-6957 has been calling me 10 or more times a day. Last night when they called I answered and it hung up on me.  When I called the number back it was busy so I continued to try and finally got through and it said Customer Service you will be called back.  Don't know who this is but they need to stop calling.

Been getting same calls from 866-724-4344.  Out of three calls, once I answered.  They said they were from Helena, Montana, and then they hung up after about 10 seconds.  Tried calling back, only got busy signal

I was just called by this number but I missed it cuz I was smoking so I googled it.  Good thing too.  I usually don't answer calls that have no number or are a number I don't recognize.

Just got a call from this as well but I think it's related to me having just signed up for something on GadgetCity and I used my cell number but my friend warned me of spam calls like this (he did the GadgetCity thing a few months ago) so I expected it and didn't answer.

answered call from my cell phone but it had already hung up when I called back I got a recorded Message " Customer service you will be contacted" Click.

I got a call on my cell from these people this morning - I didn't answer, just because I don't answer numbers that start with 800 or 866.

They left no message, and when I called back it was just a busy tone.


I hate this stuff, it creeps the hell out of me.

Got a second call to my cell phone this time I answered it and the guy said he was Bryce from century marketing in Montana. wanted my name to be entered into a sweepstake. they started out by asking if I carried a visa or mastercard. I refused to give him my name and that is where it ended. they got my number from a guy that has been filling out forms on internet using my address and cell phone number.

My 12 year old daughter has started receiving calls from this number.  I have told her not to answer any calls from this number, but how did they get her number?  Thanks for the link Lu.  I will be reporting this number to the FCC as well.

Same as all of the above... Played along a little, heh. Gave them a fake Credit card #(my old, canceled one). Got a couple of their names, William and Franklin, and william had the strangest Canadian accent "I know just what yer talkin' aboot" I had to keep myself on the road, I almost swerved off laughing. Well, Told them not to call back, googled, and am so happy I'm evil to unknown telephone numbers.

Been getting calls on my cell, but don't answer unknown calls. They never leave a message. Really irritating. Also, noticed that it shows up on caller id in 2 different formats. 1-866-314-6957, and +8663146957. ???

they called me at 10 ish this morning when i was in school and then again at like 1 40. they said i had won a vacation then asked if i had any major credit cards. I then asked why i need a credit card if it was free and they hung up.

I would like for this 1-866-314-6957 to stop calling my dam phone early in the morning at 9:41 when me and my family is getting some sleep... I would appreciate if they will put a stop to it today...

I've receive a phone call 9:41 in the morning when me and my family was still asleep. I got up to answer the phone and there wasn't no one on it and about 30 minutes later that same # called back... Who ever it is they need to get a life and find a church because they need to do some hard praying!!!

The same thing happened to me!! I got the call last night at 8:17pm. the number was 8663146957. I answered, no one was there. I tried to call back at least 5 times and got a busy signal every time.

Don't give in to anything they say. Just yell cuss words at them when they call, hopefully they will give up.

Commonly used phrases like:
"Once in a lifetime deal!"
"free diamond watch"
"three free magazines"
"3.99 subscription to tv guide"


Do NOT tell them anything.  Nothing.  Do not even talk to them.
Asked for a supervisor, 1/4 of a second later I magically was talking to one.
Scammers.
