they must have just activated this number again... cuz they called me today for the first time. amazing to see that last complaint was back in Jul 2010. Now it being Aug 2012 and all. I guess they want to use an old line to fool people or something

Just got this call on my business phone. You say it's a collection agency? From where/what store? Ooh, they left a msg. I'll get back!

This person keeps calling, I believe it is a collection agency.

I called the number back and it's a collection agency that works for multiple creditors and law firms, according to the guy that answered the phone.

They left multiple messages on my machine. Very annoying. "This is J C Christian and Associates. It is very imperative that you call me at 866-319-8619 today." They did not indicate who they were trying to reach. The message sounded like a recording as each call on the voice mail was exactly the same.

I called it to to tell them to stop bothering me. They were looking for a guy named Gary. I'm not Gary.

I get several calls a day from this # and they won't tell me who they are calling for.  They always ask who I am.  I just got this new cell # a few days ago, so it's not me they are looking for and I'm not going to share with them who I am.  Very strange as they don't tell you who they are.  Just JJ Christian.  I'm on the do not call list, so I'm going to report them.  I understand if they continue to call my cell they will be charged.

I also found out that they hang up on your when you call back blocking your number. Jerks.

I just called this number.  It first asked for the last 4 digits of my SSN.   Then it said it could not match that number with an account and wanted my entire SSN. I don't know about you, but NOBODY gets my SSN over the telephone.  When I did not enter my full SSN, it asked me to hold for the next representative, and then cut to a busy signal.  I hung up and will not be calling again.  If it is legitimate, it can put the problem in writing.

I saw a missed call from this number today. I immediately called back to find out who it is. The guy on the phone said that he is from  J C Christian and Associates and he is looking for someone named Stephanie. I told him that he has a wrong number and I am not stephanie. I asked me what my name is. I refused to answer that question. He said that I have to disclose my name because he has my number in their records. I refused once again. He then asked me to explain how my number got there. I said 'go figure'. Then this guy hung up.
