They call all the time, i swear ive gotten their call about 15 times now and i never answer. I asumed it was from my cell phone provider because i just changed my plan, but they usually aren't this persistant.
How do I get them to stop?
Bill 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
Thi number Belongs to TD Canada Trust.866-328-2380. I suggest closing your accounts and boycotting the idiots!!
Corey 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
I just got a call from them, they hung up the second I answered the phone, talk about rudeness!
Had enough 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
Twice a day!!! Past 2 weeks!! No messages. Wasting my time with this.
I tried calling and hit 6 like they said, and I got some extremely rude person saying that my number isn't on their list!!
Why am I getting calls then????
answer 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
The call is from SP Data on behalf of TD Canada Trust, they are selling insurance for $13.95 per month and you get a whopping $200 per week if you become ill or have an accident, nonsense to be calling people for nothing.

I called the head office at 1-800-399-5611 to have my number removed and got the run around, they said I will have to go to the branch, so that's what I'll do. I answered the phone once, they said it was a customer service call for TD Life, they asked for my spouse, I told them to call back at a specific time (since we are TD customers). They never called back as advised, yet continue to call several times a day and never leave a message. Customer service call eh?
Scott 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
In in Ottawa, they call every couple days. They told me they were phoning from TD and wanted to talk about a 'service some of our customers are interested in'. I just ignore their calls now.

This is another of the "MANY" numbers that call mine. >:(

Received call twice a day for the last three day, didn't answer it.
Mario 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
This is TD Life a division of TD Bank... They are a bunch of As# Hole. Call the head office at 1-800-399-5611 and ask them to remove your number.
Gordo 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
Yep i got a call just now and this is how it went hello is mr *** there...i said yes thats me, then he was like talking to somebody in the background then came back and said this is just a courtesy call and hung up without any sort of explanation...what does courtesy mean if there is no dialog?
anyways, i live in Ontario (Barrie) and i guess these people call everyone in Canada for little to no reason. pretty lame i would say

Ya these as*holes have been calling me a long time now too.
Here is a plan for all of you: start screwing around with them.
Next time they call do a really scary line or something, like "have you checked the children?"
be really weird if everyone said that every time they called.
Or:
Blast a stereo super loud and play it right next to the phone when you pick up XD
enjoy guys

Called the 800 number to have my number removed. The person I spoke with told me that they would not remove my number unless I was TD Canada Trust customer. I told them that I wasn't a TD Canada Trust Customer and that I wanted to know the number that I should call to have my cell phone removed from their calling list. Rapheal on the line refused to give me a number to call even though I explained that this is a new number and their files probably show it as being part of an old clients contact info. He refused to help. I found out that if you walk into a TD Canada Trust branch and ask nicely to have it removed they will help you. The calling centre associated with the 800 number above is based in the US and has no real information or helpful tips besides sales. In fact the guy actually tried to have me sign up as a client just to get my number removed. I literally rolled over laughing at the fact that he wanted me to sign up for the very program that I am trying to have STOP calling me twice a day! LOSERS

I'm in Ontario as well, and noticed this number on my cell a few times. I never answer if I don't recognize the number. If it weren't for sites like this one, I definately would've gone crazy by now. Thank you to whoever came up with these things!
Upset 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
Same response as others, asked TD not to call and no response, yet the calls keep comings.
Adele 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
I get this number calling about 4 - 8 times in a day. Have been calling me since I moved in June, (now September). This is also a new and unlisted number. Very frustrating, as my husband is a shift worker and gets woken up by these persistant calls.
Always hangs up on the voice mail, and we have no intention of answering. So I guess I will never know who it is. Will add my number to the "do-not-solicit" list at my local TB bank also, just in case,
Mike 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
This is the beauty of owning an iPhone. Instead of complaining about it and wasting my time calling up companies that may or may not add my number to a Do Not Call List, I jailbreak my phone, install iBlackList, add the phone number to my blacklist and I'm done.
My phone will never ring when that number calls back again, it won't even go to my voicemail. My phone simply sees the phone number, answers, then hangs up. They can call 100x's a day for all I care, because I don't even hear a single ring or have a single instance of their phone number in my unanswered history.
I've got about 40 numbers already on my list and this is my most recent entry. It's helpful.
Starduster 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
Called the 1-800 number as suggested by another reviewer and asked to be taken off the list. They were really very nice about it. Here's hoping they'll actually lose my number.
M Sullivan 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
stop calling me!
Mark 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
They call me once a day with unknown name but I can see the same number. They don't respond to "hello" so I just keep hanging up. It is also a long distance call because it rings three times but I'm not sure where it is coming from. They have been calling for 3 months now. It is very annoying.
Enough already! 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
I actually took the time to speak with them months ago and explained that I do not need that service and that I will contact them if I change my mind. I asked them not to contact me. Now I am once again, being harrassed by them. I am contcating my branch asap and having my file switched to "no soliciting" even though I had never agreed to it in the first place.
Toronto 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
They are calling again...twice today.
It's TD Life.
:/ 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown
it's not actually TD.
I'm a TD customer and i've gone into the bank and asked about this number, the rep was really confused and yeah, it's not actually TD
they're scammers.
