I got a threatening call from Richard Brown at MWS Financial saying I took out a payday loan years ago for $400 but I now owed $1450 and had to come up with $550 by this Friday or I would be arrested, then it was my wages would be garnished, I would be served at work. I asked for something to be emailed to me regarding this matter since I honestly did not know what he was talking about... He continued to threaten me. Once I was off the phone with him I googled this company and found all kinds of info regarding the scam they are doing... I reported them to the FTC and the also stated this was a scam and not to pay them anything

Does anyone out there have their address, I have already paid the loan off and they do help you with payments,  I just never got a receipt from them showing it was paid and I want this in writing showing it was paid off, I have requested this with a Sherry Young, but got  no satisfaction.

I had a payday loan which I stopped paying on because it just became to crazy.  It's like your never ending with them if you don't pay part of the balance so I just stopped paying and it went to collections.  This is where Robin Williams comes into play.  They buy the bad loan and let you pay it back at a lower amount.  I just finished paying my last one today with MWS.  They aren't bad!  If you took a loan...remember...you owe the money back!  At least they let you make payments and take off all the interest charges and your just paying back what you borrowed.  I think its a pretty good thing.  SORRY people!  When you think about it...it really does make sense.  You borrow money...you gotta pay it back.

I received a call from Ms Aaron Petry said she has a case with file number against my name and SS# when I asked for info in writing she told me it would be sent to me after I pay.

I want to know who called me.

It is a compnay called MWS financial.  they are in essence a debt collector who specialize in trying to recoup returned items from bank accounts. So if you wrote a check and it bounced and didnt make good on it or had a payday loan that you are trying to get away from and closed your bank account they would buy the debt from the oringinal lender or business.  I dont know what state your in but they were not able to verify they were a licensed collector of debt in CT

some lady called me by the name of Robin Williams first number that came thru was 832 598 2089 and she told me to call back on 866 330 8463. she claims i took a loan out with DOLLAR QUICK and i did not pay it back. never had a loan with dollar quick. glad i found this website. will call Dollar Quick today and see what is going on. i believe its a scam!

Received numerous calls from a Robin Williams about a money loan that I owed to the National Money Store.  I called them and they no longer have my account.  I called the owner of this MWS financial and her name is Sharon Norris.  She told me that when I find the FBI report saying they are not legitimate I should call her back and then she hung up. Not sure what the deal is.
