Seems to be the # for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign these days. If you don't answer, they are quite persistent (2-3X/day) until you do pick up.
Election season is definitely upon us, and yes, political calls are exempt from Do-Not-Call restrictions.

(to Bill, Sep 11 2008) -- Based on (1) They *said* that's who they were, (2) they asked for the only member of this household who *is* a registered (and contributing) Dem, (3) on OA's website they list the DSCC among their clients. Three strikes, yer out!
BTW, YOU made an unfounded assumption.
-----------------
They called *again*, no message -- UGH.

Call was from Obama's teleprompter wanting money ... or else
| jjb 2011-06-06 21:01:32 Unknown |
I get them too.
Thing to keep in mind, if you are receiving them on your cell phone, the DNC registration does not apply to cells. While you can register the number, it may deter companies from calling, but by law they are still allowed to call cell phones.

Election season is over but these calls continue from the same telemarketers,
Outreach Associates whose owner company is in PA. I only have info I found
online, but these folks are now full speed ahead for 'charitable' contributions which some have said are questionable. Why can't someone do
something about these folks? They are calling under many different phone
numbers. It's more than annoying.

It may seem to you that it is the number for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign, but what do you base it on. Yours is a cheap shot to try to pin these annoying phone calls on the Dems.

Keep getting calls from 866-335-7110, never leave a message, never answer when I pick up.

I keep getting calls from this and another number, both listed as "Toll Free Number."
(866) 411-4236
(866) 335-7110
They call several times a week.

I have rec'd repeated calls from the following numbers up until 8:45pm EST. There has also been a brief pause, click then hang up when I do finally answer. I am also on the "DO NOT CALL LIST. 1-866-335-5710, 1-866-572-0054, 1-866-634-6128, 1-866-380-3751, 1-866-573-5144, 1-866-573-8960. That is just to name a few in the last week. I assume that the LIST no longer matters when you are with a bundled cable internet service. It would be interesting to know the common link between these harassing calls? Was the "NO CALL LIST" started by the FCC? or VERIZON.

I have received these same annoying calls several times a day for the past 3-4 weeks. My caller ID only shows "Unknown Name" "866-335-7110" then shows the date and time. When I answer, there is a slight 'clik', complete silence for about 30 seconds, then the line goes dead and I receive a dial tone. A return call to this number receives this response: "Hi, Thank you for calling the Donor Services line of Outreach Associates, a nationwide telephone solicitation service. Please leave your name and telephone number and someone will get back to you" Hope this information is useful to others who are getting the same calls.

Received @ 10:20 AM CDT on 3/8/2008. No one on the line (automated phone bank). I understand the Do Not Call list has some exemptions, but those who qualify for those exemptions should be required by the same law to leave a clear, standard message that states who is calling, why they are calling, and leave a toll-free number and website address for the <s>victim</s> customer to use and stop the calls after the very first attempt. But, considering the cowardly politians exempted themselves from their own law (again), this will never happen.
