Thanks for the info -- been receiving 2-3 calls/day w/ no message left.
I just called the 800 # to remove my name & they were very pleasant about it.
I live alone, so always screen my calls & it was disturbing not to know who it came from.
Thanks so much for the info available on this site!

Thanks for the heads up... that number was perfect and they took my number off their list.

Call is from American Center 866-348-8647
Why in the %#*#@ do they waste their time & money calling people when they do not respond when one answers??? They must have too much time on their hands making these nuisance calls several times a day. Just give up because many complaints have been issued. Perhaps new laws should be enforced against these stupid people!!!

I have been getting calls from this 866-348-8647. Went on the answering machine. No message. Just a hang up. They call at about twice a day now. Even though they are allowed to call people on the "Do not call list" it doesn't mean they should. It just makes people not like their organization. I supply and PAY for my phone and service for MY PURPOSES, not yours!!!

I got a call from 866-348-8647 on my caller ID from American Center at 8:23 A.M. this morning.
Yesterday it was from ACLJ-202-607-2557. Did not answer. Went on the answering machine.
No message. Just a hang up. Do you think they will eventually get the message that they are
being screened.

It's Pat Roberton....he NEEDS more money to tell lies like the one about Haiti.
He said they were punished by the earthquake because those "people" sold their souls to the devil.
No kidding. It's on Youtube.
For those who lost everything in the recent tornado's in the south and from the massive flooding,
remember his words. He thinks you are evil and deserve it.
He's a money hungry religious charlatan......he's not a man of God.

Does anyone know who this number belongs to? All I get is "Out of Area" + the number and nobody on the other end.
Meob 2011-06-06 21:01:34 Unknown
We're called several times a day. How can we stop this?
Matt 2011-06-06 21:01:34 Unknown
Some Anti-American hate group that keeps calling me to complain about non christians and judges that rule in favor of the constitution.

I GET SEVERAL CALLS DAILY FROM 800 NUMBERS WHICH I NEVER ANSWER AND THEY NEVER LEAVE MESSAGES. THANKS FOR INFORMING PEOPLE WHO THIS NUMBER BELONS TO...I DEFINATELY WOULD NOT WANT TO TAKL TO THEM.
Jim C 2011-06-06 21:01:34 Unknown
Ford, Carnegie and Rockefeller Foundations love the atheist groups. The founder of Progressive Insurance gave 8 million dollars to the ACLU -- and I gave 30 dollars to the ACLJ.
This will play out in the courts, I guess.
Rich N 2011-06-06 21:01:34 Unknown
The atheist organizations are well funded. ACLJ may be the only group standing against them.
Sara 2011-06-06 21:01:34 Unknown
Called at 8:15pm. They are asking if I want to add my name to the petition to fight to keep the National Day of Prayer, whereas an atheist group is trying to dismantle it. I don't think there is anything wrong with religious groups supporting our country by praying for it - I do believe in religious freedom and at least a positive relationship between church and state. But then they asked me for a donation of $100, then asked for $30-$50, or anything smaller. Times are tough and I don't like being solicited in person for donations.

I have been getting calls from this 866 number, 202-607-2572, unavailable and out-of-area all week. For sure the 866-348-8647 and 202-607-2572 are related. The 866 number comes up "toll free" while the 202 number says "ACLJ". I don't know where they got my number but they better get me off their list.

This is the American Centre for Law & Justice. Their web site is: https://www.aclj.org. They never leave a message. Even call on Sundays. Obviously asking for donations. Since religion and the US government are intertwined, they are of no value to me. See: http://www.oldamericancentury.org/14pts.htm section 8.
