Repeated calls from this number. I do not answer. No idea who they are. I suspect robo calling.

Someone from 866-357-2332 called and left a voice message stating they were a police officer and if I didn't call back immediately they were going to issue a warrant for my arrest. A law firm employee posing as a law enforcement officer – brilliant! I don't know who owns this number, I don’t do business with this company, I don’t know what this is about and I don't owe anyone money! I am a law abiding citizen. I would like to see someone show up at my front door or on my property and try to arrest me for absolutely no reason. Let them show up and attempt to touch me.
(I am recording each threatening (false) message and will be reporting them to my local police department, the FBI, the bar association / State judiciary review.)

BEWARE OF THIS SHYSTER LAW FIRM!!! - They are total scammers and phishers!!!!
They said I owed a cell phone debt that I paid in full when I left Chicago in 1997. I confirmed this with the cell carrier which is now Verizon after mergers that I owe nothing. They persist despite my demanding them to show proof so they send me a bill with their logo - I said no from the company and of course they never do. BEST move os to not answer the call - you only talk in circles with them and they always want some kind of personal info from you.l

Happened to me tonight at 8:30 pm. A lady starts right into giving me my social security and asking me if it's right. Then wants to know what I plan to do about a bill that is so old it doesn't even show up on my credit score. I Inquire as to why someone is just now getting ahold of me (very calm) and she hung up on me. I call the number back a guy answers with my full name and tells me that he can help me insists over and over while ask and then demand to speak with their manager. I eventually hung up. I want to know what will happen now that they know the last 4 digits of my social and my full name! How can we take them down????!!!!!!

My mother recieved a call from them asking for me. She called me and gave me the caller I.D. number. I called, was hung up on 1st time. Then waited for the "representative" and got this jerk on the phone. He said they were a law firm, and they were based in New York City. When I asked what type of law did they practised he stated he couldn't say until the "account" was verified. Then he asked /demanded my social security number. I told him fat chance and he said "well we will go nowhere" I laughed and said "no you won't be going anywhere." He then hung up on me.

Tell them give your information and address so I SUE you, then they never call you back
Bj 2011-06-06 21:01:36 Unknown
This is an automated dialer looking for someone I never heard of. It says if you push the button to talk to someone you are admitting that you are the person they are looking for, so I don't, but it gives no option to tell them I never heard of and quit calling at naptime and waking up my kids and me.!

They are debt collectors for major credit cards and other major companies like Directv and Dish. I have been dealing with them for over 5 years and the only reason why they call me is to make sure that my phone is up to date. They don't bother me if I make regular payments. They will work with you too on arrangements. They aren't scammers. Besides, it's work for those people in the Call Center. Look at it that way.

My aunt received a call from these people asking for me. She in turn told my mother, who relayed the info to me. I called them back and they wanted to "very my identity" by asking me my social security number. I told them I was calling the police to report them for attempting to steal my identity and they said, "Have a nice day, sir." and hung up.
Dee 2011-06-06 21:01:36 Unknown
They've been calling everyday of the week. Sometime as early as 8am on any given weekend! I'll report this number and the 727 568 6947 to my phone service provider. It seems these scammers are smarter than the national do-not-call list -___-" Get rid of them!
Denise 2011-06-06 21:01:36 Unknown
Just got a call from some number looking for my son who has not lived here in 7-8 years. When I asked what the business was about he said my son's "security" but would not give me more information, so I asked for a number to call back. The man gave me 866-357-2332 to call back. When I called this number, I got another person who answered, "William Seigel (sp?) & Associates". Upon asking him what kind of business this was, he said it was a law firm. I told him I had gotten a call from someone who wouldn't disclose what business he was calling for. The fellow at the 866 number made a sound that seemed like acknowledging a gaffe and he hung up on me.

This law firm has been sued numerous times in federal court. Brown v. Law offices of Mitchell Kay Bunnell v. Law offices of Mitchell Kay; Alejo v. Law Offices of Mitchell Kay; Elmore v. Law offices of Mitchell Kay.
My question is what is the New York State Bar doing about this? This attorney is CLEARLY breaking the law and GETTING AWAY WITH IT.
I don't care if someone is unable to pay their bill, the DO NOT DESERVE to be harassed, threatened, or verbally abused because of it. Misfortune happens to people every day. The BIGGER question is WHY IS THIS MONSTER ORGANIZATION ALLOWED TO C O N T I N U E TO GET AWAY WITH BREAKING THE LAW???????!!!!
Finally, T-Mobile is as crooked as it gets because they are CHEATING people on their phone bills CONSTANTLY AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT AND THEN THEY HIRE MITCHELL KAY TO COLLECT A DEBT THAT DOES NOT EVEN BELONG TO THE INDIVIDUAL -BUT PLACED ON THEIR ACCOUNT FRAUDULENTLY BY T-MOBILE. I know, because I had them as a cell phone provider in Miami when hurricane passed through in 2005 and the whole town and power was shut down for two weeks, I had no cell phone because I had no power but yet in still, they charged me over $300.00 bill! They are all Criminals!
n/a 2011-06-06 21:01:36 Unknown
They are a law firm yes that buy off accounts from different companies that people owe debts on. They bought my account from T-mobile and tracked me down somehow at a house that I am living in with some friends. I started paying off my debt to them so that it will not be written off as a bad debt and it is not a scam. They are really looking for people that owe debts and it has to be repaid but where it gets out of line is calling people late at night. I received a phone call from them at almost 9 o'clock pm and to me that is extremely rude because that is around the time that people are relaxing from their hard days at work or is sleeping. I just hungup on them because I was sick and not feeling well.

Keep getting calls from these jerks. Identify themselves as law firm Mitchell & Kay. Asking for my adult son who hasn't lived with us for over 2 years. Yes, he had some bad debt but has since paid all of it off. I found other posts with the name of this supposed law firm. They are crooks!!! Do not answer their questions and especially do not give them any personal information.
Phoenix 2011-06-06 21:01:36 Unknown
Asked for a guy named George E. (hiding name for the poor guy). This was on some sort of stupid recording. Of course they got the wrong number, but why are they using real names of folks in such a random way? I cannot believe half of the stuff people get away with doing! For God's sake, don't answer any of their stupid questions either!!!!
Chow 2011-06-06 21:01:36 Unknown
