Repeated calls to my cell phone. When you pick up no one speaks. If you call back they are rude and won't tell you who they are. Phone service says there's nothing they can do about it. very frustrating especially since I pay for these calls and they often come at very late times.

I have received this too! I do not know who they are I am alwasy never here  but I keep seeing the number on my caller id

We got a call from these people also claiming they were a collection agency hired to collect a debt for Columbia House Videos.  We have never purchased anything from Columbia House and don't have any debt so they can't be collecting a legitimate debt.  I did some checking about the phone number and came up with the website (cut paste the link below).  Check it out.  Very interesting reading.  Next time the heavy accented guy calls I'm going to explain to him that I'm a fraud investigator for a large bank.  True too.

Either you or someone who had your number owes someone some money

These people are very rude and some how they not only called me but different ones of my family members and they wont send me a letter stating who they are and want all my bank information over the phone I dont think so!!! They were speaking with foreign dialogue and I could understand them!!

When I pick up the receiver and say Broadmoor Sales office, they hang up.

I received a call from someone with a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent asking to speak with a "Mr. Kaye B-----".  It was the name of my ex-sister-in-law with whom I have no contact for several years, who has never lived anywhere near my residence, and who has never been associated with my surname.  I asked how on earth he got my phone number, and was told only that it was "in a database".  It took a while to convince him that I wasn't Kaye and that I had no idea how to locate her.  But once I did, he was very polite and promised to amend the data base to remove my association with her name.  We'll see.

Got a call phone this number on my house phone they have been calling several times over the past few days, actually left a 5 second message this time.  However it was just someone talking in the background.  I called the number and got someone with a heavy accent.  They said that they were a collections agency looking for a Cinthia Nelson, in the phone book our number is listed as C. Nelson, thus the mix up.  After explaining that the person that they were looking for didn't reside at my house they seemed nice enough and said that my number would be removed from their database.
