This rude lady has called my residence twice and has been extremely rude, made threats, and never gave out tangible information on who she was, who her company was/is, or was helpful in ANyway.

I just bought a car from MOSSY TOYOTA AND THIS CRAZY B***H WAS SAYING I'D BETTER PAY OR ELSE!

866-364-8758 THIS B***H IS CRAZY, WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM CALL!

Says we owe $8000 to toyota for a 2008 vehicle.  We don't own a toyota nor even have financed any vehicle.

A guy called me from 866-364-8758. Same M.O. - really rude. He was asking for my bf as he is the name listed on my cell phone acct. I asked him what it was regarding and he kept telling me it was a "personal matter" and was "urgent". I asked him where he was calling from and he told me "personal matter". Then finally I asked again and he told me Toyota. I answered that he does not own a Toyota and he told me again and he needs to speak with my bf personally...i hate scams!

They called me today Aug 18, 2009, and left a message on my *cell* phone is unsettling to get spam/solicitation on Cell phones...the woman asked for a person who does not live here, someone I don't even know...clearly the wrong info

when I called them back at the number given at the voicemail message which was 866 364 8758 she said she'd remove it after I gave my name and phone number and stated that Jane W-------- (I don't want to give this poor woman's full name unless I have to) doesn't live here and I don't know her

Then I asked the woman on the phone for their street address, this "Toyota and Lexis Financial Services" company (which is the namn they self identified in the automated announcement I got when I first called the 866 number..they first asked for my customer number or TIN or SNN and I didn't want to give out my SNN so after 2 failed tries they sent me to this live person, the woman I spoke with)

I wanted the address so I could ask in writing and have a record of doing so..

Now the woman said they can't. I have had every other collector agree to give me their phone number (well, there might have been 1 exception out of the 5 or so...I can't recall if that one had been rude or also refused to give address)..but this woman said they can't because...some crazy explanation about them having three different offices so they "wouldn't know" what to do with my letter since I'mnot a customer

I re phrased and said if you are not a customer and are getting wrong phone messages, wrongly looking for someone who'se not there, what's the street address to write?
Again a basically meaningless 'explanation' and round and round we went 1 or 2 more times,though she was polite the whole time..and I stayed polite while letting her every other collector gave me a street address..and that if calls continue I'd report them but I said, I like to handle it in a friendly way so would like to know what street address...nothing

She did answer my question that her name is Misha...and her location is "Arizona"

I stated one last time that if the calls end that's fine but if they don't I'll report this "Toyota and LExis Financial Services" to "agencies" to report them and complain but that I won't if they stop, I added again and then thanked her and hung up as I didn't want to try a 4th or 5th time of getting no where with her...

1) they only one to call my cell phone
2) the only one or one of only two out of all the companies over the last 4 years to not give an address (and I've been getting a LOT...even though I owe NO student loan, NO car or credit card (I pay in full each month) or any other loan at this point...and have had this number for a while..but keep getting calls for, I might as well mention their names, they are probably fake names used by scammers so people need to know if that's true, for Alton Aylor or more recently Rubia Aylor or now for Jane Weatherby (sp?) and I have no clue who these people are but apparently somedatabases say they are at my home number or now on my cell number..)

3) ask for your SSN (soc sec numnber) or TIN (tax iden number) right at the automated welcome message...even though you're not their customer..!

4) I almost forgot..she said she's look up and try to find my record at one point instead of the earlier (what I thought I heard) that "she'll remove it" so I asked can you at least find and remove it while I'm on the phone with you so I know it's removed by phone? She said she couldn't because I'm not a customer but she'll make a note and try to later...huh? she can't locate the number?

CORRECTION: I realized while typing this in that I had given the woman my home number not my cell number...since I'm so used to that number being the number the collectors call...but this timethey left a message on my cellphone..so I just this minute called back, got another woman..STILL asked by automated announcement to give my SOCIAL SECURITY but this time when she stated she'd remove it and I asked for an address, she said,"hold on"then took more time then "could you hold"and I did and this time the rep gave an actual address: Toyota Financial (not "toyota and lexis financial services")

still -- calling your cell phone not your home phone -- BAD
still -- trying to get your SSN number when you're not even a customer-- BAD

will they remove my CELL from their calling?time will tell.

can someone POST the best places to report them?

Better business bureau and I have one number for one other agency or govt office whose name I can't recall, elsewhere in my files,but who else to call, or write, to report "Toyota and Lexis Financial Services"?

There's bad, and there's worse

Bad are the many non-scammers who have a real debt but are too lazy or don't care that their databased of phone numbers are WRONG and so keep harassing people without debts hoping to eventually find and harass  the person with the debt

Worse are those who may be trying to harvest SSN number or possibly worse...

P.S. although they said to call the above 866 number the voicemail itself was left from 800 874 8822
