Have received couple of calls from this number.

THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM!!!!!!! I am a telus customer and have been receiving calls from this number for a  few days now. i always answer and when i ask who calling they say telus really quickly and hang up. I finally called back because this is just driving me crazy and got the "thank you for calling telus" then in french. which is one they used to use a few years ago, if you call the number on the telus website you will hear there new one. any way, they said to press 1 for English which i did and then to press 1 (only option) to talk to someone about the promotional offer. after a few "not understanding my request" i finally got threw to someone who could neither confirm nor deny that they are from telus and wanted a hole lot of information when i asked them if this was a scam they hung up on me.

so after all that i called *611 from my cell and talked to someone there who said that this was in no way them or someone they outsource to. they have no promotions at this time and advised not to talk to them at all.. because i have an i phone i was able to block the number but if you do not put in your phone as scam so you dont answer them.

Got a call but noone answered.

Caller ID on cell phone.   Name - Unknown ,  Number - 866-369-9826.  No message left - just 5 seconds of dead air before the hangup.  The voice mail system gave out the calling number as a 250-997-**** number which is a local number.  I tried to query the local number but it didn't show up in any searches.  If, as some say, this is Telus - they will not win my business this way.

Enjoyed my conversation with this particular individual- Guy must have been drunk calling from 866-369-9826, asking to speak with Arron who- I do not know- but this is however a new cellphone and number... people. lol

I keep getting the call as well but I do not pick up. I have sent a text message to them sayiong stop calling this number. If they call again I will report it to the better Business Bureau

I just got a call from this number and I didn't answer it because I don't answer strange phone calls.

They called me on Friday and today! Picked up on Friday and they had a strong accent and I couldn't understand them! Told them to buzz off but they called again. I am so annoyed!

I received a call from this number right after I made a very quick call. I did not answer this call and they didn't leave a voice mail. I am with Telus. They occasionally send me text messages trying to sell me stuff; I don't really care, it's only a text. Phone calls are irritating! LOL I'm not a big money maker for them as I don't a lot on my phone and mainly use text. Data is minimal and only when needed. If I want more I will go to the store or call YOU Telus. I see a number of people have had persistent problems with the number. Thanks for your comments. If this becomes a problem for me, then Telus WILL hear from me.

Yes, this is definitely TELUS. I phoned their 888 number and asked why they were calling me persistently in spite of the fact I am not answering. He told me that it was likely to inform me of a new plan and to try and get me to change. Since no one has my cell number and I only use it for 911 calls I told him "no". He said that he would remove me from their telemarketing list and it would take 48 hours to do so. We shall see if this works or I will be back calling them again. So if I were you I would do the same thing to stop the calls.

This number called, I didn't pick up but when I phoned back, I found out I was calling my bank.
.I hung up before punching any bank card numbers in or passwords. This stuff is getting out of hand.

I keep getting this call. I called back and some guy answered the call and I asked why he was calling me. He hung up.

I believe it is a Telus scam. They are trying to burn up your minutes so you have to buy more.

I'm from Alberta and this number has shown up on my cell phone frequently over the last few weeks: (2/12 8:42 pm, 2/10 5:38 pm, 2/4 8:44 pm, 1/31 7:30 pm). Whoever is calling does not leave a message and the one time I picked up, there was no one on the line. How can I make it stop???

Yeah I always get official texts from Telus never a phonecall

Received 9, yes NINE calls from this number between 9:39am and 9:41am on January 10th.  I didn't have my phone with me at the time, but saw all of the missed calls and looked up the number.  I am not a Telus customer.  I haven't ever heard of the company.

Nine calls in fewer than 3 minutes.  A little excessive, don't you think?

1 866 369 9826,  calls me once every 4 or 7 days,   I answer and they hang up.  

Why are you bothering me?  Do they get their jollies anoying people.  Just for this my renewal may go to another cell company other than Telus.

I receive a call from 1-866-369-9826 0n my cell daily at the same time an refuse to answer it the same as I would for any number I don't know. But it is very annoying!!!

I called Telus and it is a Telus number.  Me term is coming up and they want me me to sign up or get a new phone which would COST.  Wish they could speak english

They have called twice.  Picked up and it said, this call is being recorded.  The man stated it was Telus Mobility but he asked for someone other than who's name the phone is registered to.  Someone related to the registered owner but not the registered owner of the phone.  I am a employee of a company who supplies me with 'this phone'.  I did not give them any info or my name.
