Our office received a call from this number, asking for employment verification.

They've called and called for days.  I never pick up unrecognized numbers; I wait to see if they leave a voicemail.  They haven't left one yet.  BLOCKED.

Called my cell phone - I did not answer, they left no message.

Just got a call from this number saying they were from Comcast and they had deals for current customers. I told them i'm not a current customer, they apologized and hung up.

The first entry here is from 2007.  Six years later, these guys are still running the same scam.  This suggests that works for them, and nobody has found a way to make them stop.  I guess we'll have to live with them, like we live with mosquitos...

I now have two cell phones, one "public" and one "private".  I give out the private number only to friends ? when filling out forms or whatever, I write down the public number.  And I never answer that one, just check the voice mail (it's a pay-as-you-go phone, and a few bucks last forever).  Problem solved.

They are trying to sell me comcast package?

I asked the person what my account number is or where is the service address and she was unable to provide any meaningful inforation other than saying that they are calling onbehalf of Comcast...

How can she help me if she doesn't even know what I have??

Several calls from 866-375-9723  Last one just minutes ago 6/20/2013.  I didn't answer the phone this time.  This call came in on my cell phone which I have on the do not call list.

This number calls me at home and at work.  There is no one there when I answer at home and it is a recording that calls my place of employment.

They called twice in one day, with a total of 7 calls as of this post. Caller id only shows "(866) 375-9723". I never picked up to answer. My number is unlisted. Practically the only way they could have gotten my unlisted number was from an online reverse phone number look-up service website I submitted into. I used 4-5 sites from the top I googled for. But most likely the offending website was "Freecellsearch". So user caveat when using such websites!

It rang three times and then hung up, no message. From what I've read on other 800 boards it sounds like this is actually NOT Comcast, and possibly a scam trying to get your personal information.

Don't give your personal information, especially last 4 digits of social to some random company saying they're calling from Comcast.

I want them to leave me alone. I AM on the Federal "do not call" list but they still call.

I think it might be Comcast as well.  I can't say for sure, so I'm not listing it as the caller company.  It's calling every so often and there's no answer when I pickup and sometimes a hangup before I hangup.

Calls every night at 7:30 PM

I get calls from this# 866-375-9723, 3 to 4 time a day or more.No message left. I called that # once left a message If you need to speak to me please leave a me a message I would be glad to return your call. No messages no call. That didn;t stop them, they keep calling untill 8:30pm

After many calls with nobody on the other end I finally got a person on the other end. They said they were from Comcast and would I like some premium channels. When I declined the guy said I was making a huge mistake and he had never talked to such a bozo before. I told him I didn't appreciate being called a bozo and he started making farting noises so I hung up. Ive never in all my days been so annoyed and didn't think I'd get these calls in Wisconsin.

I get calls from this number and know one answers me when I pick up and say 'hello.' I'm feeling harassed.

I am adding them into my phone as a new contact and then having it sent directly to Voicemail.  That way I don't even have to hear the phone ring or even vibrate.  I do this with all of my unwanted calls and put them in a category of "Do Not Answer"  It is funny to look at my phone and see that "Do Not Answer" has called four or five times.  I just laugh.

They called and said that they were from Comcast and then asked if we were Comcast customers.  I told them that we are and then they proceeded to give us a "DEAL" on high speed internet.(which we already have) so then they just said sorry and hung up. We are also on the "Do Not Call" list and they called on a cell phone which is also on the DNC list.

It's a scam sure enough.

Keep getting a call from the same number about every hour on my cell.  I created a silent ring tone.  All such calls I add my silent ringtone.  Now I will not be aggrevated by their number ringing my phone.  :)

Yeah, it's Comcast. If you say hello and wait a second a telemarketer will usually pick up... ask them to put your name on the Do Not Call list and the calls should decrease in a month or so.

Juat added it to my REJECT call list..and moving on.  Have no need for calls at 7am all the way thru 9:55pm.  II do not own a Land line, so my cell can reject unwanted numbers.  Just glad I dont have to pay for minutes..
 If they dont bother to leave a message...or bother to call with a REAL bonified Person(robocalls) then they are calling the wrong person.

This is NOT from Comcast - this company is making it seem as though they are and will not remove us from the list!

they called me on my cellphone which they shouldn't have.  I have Triple play so they would have called on my home phone.  whatever, I'm going to ignore anyway.

Nothing that we can do to stop the calls from this company since we are customers of Comcast and they can call us unless we drop the service and go with another vendor or just use cell phones. Hey, there's an idea.

LET COMCAST KNOW HOW MUCH THIS PRACTICE ANNOYS YOU.  This and the snail mail they send practically weekly to get you to upgrade!  Do not upgrade...DOWNGRADE!  Threaten to cancel your service entirely if they don't stop their relentless and annoying marketing.  I can't think of a more annoying company than Comcast.

I need to stop these harrassing calls.. I have asked them to be removed from their list, they say it will be removed withing the next business day, and i am still getting calls from these idiots.. please please I am getting sick and tired from robo calls and telemarketers.....

Has anyone that has called them back and left the message to be REMOVED from their darn list actually got them to stop calling???? I've only had Comcast for a couple of months and after about 2 months in, this started. I also have had my personal email (not the one Comcast gave me) SLAMMED with unscolisted emails. I know that I do personal bussiness with them so they are allowed to do this weather or not I'm on the "do not call list". I WILL NOT BE REUPPING WITH COMCAST!!! and I will be reading AT&T's privacy notice when I switch to them. I'm very upset at the aggrivation!
