Ils m'ont telephoner a 9h53 PM le soir!!! J'ai pas répondu et j'ai tenté de rapeller et aucun moyens d'avoir une ligne..... Incroyable qui ose déranger les gens a cette heure?!!  Gang de NoLife!!

Je suis exaspérée de recevoir des téléphones de ces Bougons de marketing.
Nous pourrions peut-être faire une pétition et envoyer de sérieux avertissement au deux Responsable mentionnés par le

Calls my work number 2-3 times per day (municipal extension, not listed/linked to me). I normally just reject the call, however, the couple of times I answered without saying anything, there was nothing said from their end either. Cowards!

J'ai déjà fait affaire avec cet agent d'immeuble et il est rat!  Tenez-vous loin de lui!  Sa réputation est exécrable.  Pas surprenant qu'il passe par ce service afin de solliciter des clients potentiels, car le bouche-à-oreille lui nuit.  Il essaie d'attrapper des nigauds qui n'ont pas encore entendu parler de lui!

i've been getting this caller this past week (oct. 15, 19, and 22) and usually after 5pm also. But i dont answer it because i never answer people i dont know. I guess this phone number has not been stopped...

This number keeps calling my phone,, line,,I am tried of it,, they hang up,, and call at all different hours,, scams,,, I am sure,,

Moi aussi j'ai eu 2 appels de ce genre qui venait de ce numéro. Difficile d'entendre le message vocal qui est coupé mais on entend le mot résidentiel.

They call me, but they remain silent. I'm, like, "hello, hello" and  still no response. they hang up after like 10 seconds. fa*ggots.

so do I , receive numerous calls from this number also 866-378-2678 at different times, and no message on the A.M. ever ; I don't ever answer if I don't know who is calling but I am getting tired of that number.

This call is from "Centre Residentiel du Quebec" and they are looking for house or condos'owners who want to sell their property. They called during the evening to be sure that there is someone at home. Personnaly I did not answer the phone because I was sure that this was an unwanted call.

I also received a few calls from this number and they do not leave a message on your phone answering machine but continue to call.  They seem to call after 5 pm .

Here is how to Fight Back!

What this guy is doing is illegal as per the CRTC.
If you read the following article carefully you will read that using "Automatic Dialing and Announcing Devices" for solicitation is prohibited.

Here is what you can do (according to CRTC):

Step 1:
Take a notepad, a pen, and write EVERYTHING down.
From the call you got (date, time, phone number on caller ID, message played) to what is going to happen at all the steps mentioned bellow.  This is IMPORTANT because if Bell isn't doing its job, you will need to tell CRTC when you called bell, who you spoke to, when they said they would call you back, etc...

Step 2:
Call your phone provider's (Bell Canada in my Case) highest level of support.
For Bell Canada that level is called "Bell Canada Executive Office of Customer Relations" (French: "Bureau des relations clients à la haute direction de Bell Canada").
Their phone number is:  1 800 361-0640
If you get an answering machine, leave a message.  It might take a couple of days to get back to you.

Step 3:
You mention that you got a call from an ADAD that was solicitation and that according to CRTC it is not permitted and CTRC told you to call Bell and complain so Bell can take actions against this telemarketer.  Tell Bell that the CRTC was very specific that it is Your Provider's responsibility to handle this.  Do NOT threaten Bell.  Do NOT say "I will call CRTC if you are a bad boy!".  That will just piss 'em off.  They know already what the CRTC means and simply by mentioning it, they know you did your homework.

Step 4:
Ask the person at Bell to get back to you when this is resolved and when you should expect a callback from Bell.  Tell them that you insist to be called back even if they have not resolved it within the time frame they give you so they can give you another expected time frame.

Step 5:
Wait for the callback.  Patience!  It's a long process.

Step 6:
Celebreate because this guy's phone number will be cut.

If this does not happen in this order, then you call CRTC and you tell them that you called Bell, you complained, you give CRTC all the details you wrote down and you tell CTRC you are not satisfied with the way Bell (or whatever your provider is) handled your complain.  The CRTC is like the Police for Telecommunications.  They will take your complain seriously only, and ONLY if you first tried to settle this with Bell and gave them reasonable amount of time to resolve it. (That's why I told you to ask bell what timeframe to expect).

Once the CRTC take your complain, Bell becomes REALLY cooperative!
