this number calls me about 8 times a day everyday for the last week or so and when i call it back i get the circuts are busy message. Its so annoying.

Since May 19, 2009, I've been receiving this number on my cell phone. At first I did not answer, but after awhile I did. A male told me that I won something. All I needed to do was answer a few questions. I told him to ask the questions, I may or may not answer. He stated that I was selected because I am a holder of a major credit card. He named various companies. With that I realized it must be a scam to get my info. I made a unlind statement to him and was disconnected. That same day in the evening I received another call. I heard two males talking back and forth. It sounded like they were talking about not making this call. I hung up. One week later I am still receiving the calls. I answered the phone while eating an apple there was a pause on the other end. Then My name was mentioned. I stated, when are you going to stop calling me!
EVERYONE becareful! It sounds like a SCAM!!

I was at home and the phone rang and when i  answered it, there was a man and he asked "Is Maria there?" I told him that he had the wrong number and he thanked me and hung up (my home phone has no caller id.) The next day,I was working and my cell phone rang so I hung up before I heard anything. At lunch I looked at the number because my cell phone has caller id and the number was 1-866-394-9194; just then i got a call, and when i picked up, it was a woman and she asked "Is Maria there?" I was so weirded out that i hung up. I later tried to call back but a busy message played all the times i tried, even when i used a friends phone just in case. Maybe it was just a weird coincidence, but it was FREAKY. Next time they call I'll try and see who it is.

i got a call from 1-866-394-9194 this morning on my cell and i picked it up it was a women she said she was from tampa bay, florida she said her name 2 but i forgot wat it was. she said that she had great news 4 me after she said that i hung up. my parents always warned me about scams and stuff. while i was eating lunch the # called me again i didnt pick it up though. i would say any1 who is getting called from this number (1-866-394-9194) dont pick up the fone im going 2 put that # on my block list so the person cant call me.the people on the other end of the line r probably trying 2 get info its probably just a scam.

It is a SCAM, however the callers usually get paid for every call ANSWERED and the length of the call. They are also scamming their employers. They find numbers that go to voice mail and play music or do dead silence. Usual time for a voice mail is bout 1 minute so they are making money. They know which numbers pick up, hang up, answer or keep ringing and use that information. Try hanging up on them every time you call and they usually stop. However, sometimes they have people that actually are trying to pull the scam. IT IS A SCAM, THEY WANT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND MAY EVEN HAVE SOME OF YOUR INFO ALREADY SUCH AS YOUR NAME!!! Sometimes they say you won a prize but usually ask you a few "Survey" questions which gives them personal information to help them steal your identity. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! 8663949194 Keeps calling 3-5 times a day. They also use different 866 and 877 numbers as well. I think it's the same people! Sometimes I don't answer, other times I hAng up on them. I have already advised them that I am on the Federal Do Not Call Registry and they are violating Federal Law, to stop calling. That hasn't stopped them. They know the law is a joke and the Feds don't have the brass to enforce anything. A private citizen can be arrested for non stop calling (it's called harassment,) but these companies can keep doing it over and over and nothing can be done. This country really is going down the toilet!

I was called and told I would receive a $200 Walmart card for listening to the sales pitch. I listened and never agreed to anything. A few days later, my debit card was charged with these names and amounts:

A couple of days later, I also got another charge:

This is a SCAM!!! I don't know how they even got my number, I never told them, they never read it to me, I never ordered or agreed to anything. I called to get my money credited back. I got cancelation codes for all charges. The only charge reversed is the $49.95 charge. Note, I have cancelation codes for the other charges too. I called back to find out why those charges have to yet to be reversed. They said those are non-refundable. I said they were never authorized in the first place and they indeed are refundable and I needed to speak to a supervisor. She said the only way to speak to a supervisor is in writing.
My bank will reverse the charges, but because the amounts are low, they aren't going to go after the company. I don't want that company to have my money. How is it this place is still in business-they have access to people's accounts and charging them without consent. Cash is the only way to go nowadays-it's insane if you ask me.
These people continue to call at least 8 times a day wanting me to sign up for some bs. I get calls from these numbers: 866-963-4941, 866-394-9194, and 866-407-5549

This number called my 14 year old son on his cell phone that he's had for about 5 weeks.  We Have no idea how they could have gotten the number.  We blocked the number but if they ever call again I will answer and give them what for.

I started receiving calls from this number 2 or 3 days ago, as well as from (866)963-4936.  They either call and hang up as soon as I answer or start off by asking how my day is and hang up when I tell them I am at work and ask them what the call in regarding.  I recently called a number to get info on foreclosed properties.  They wanted me to give them my credit info to have pay for the 99 cent shipping, I told them they were out ogf their heads' and went to the local grocery store and picked up a gift card and called back the next day.  The charge was now up to $1.99, but I felt just fine giving them the gift card numbers.  Shortly after that the calls from these numbers started.  BE CAREFUL

I listen to the sell pitch as well. The lady was talking really fast. She said I would recv a something in the mail just for listening. Then after she finished she said it didn't record & had to repeat it again. I asked her if I was going to get charged for any thing & she said no. I look @ my bank account online & I've been charged $4.95 HMIDPROTECT8663185007, MAGSENTRTMNT8778014103 $4.95 & BELISI $7.95. I haven't called back yet to ask for a refund yet b/c I just notice it on my bank account but i will let yall know what happens when I do

Receiving several calls per day for last few days and caller is hanging up.

This number has called me 4 times in 2 days.  The phone rings once and then that is it.  I try to call it back and the line rings once and then a recording says "all circuits are busy".  I did call back once and a guy asked me if he was speaking to "Me" and before I could get my answer out they hung up.  I have a ring back tone, so I don't know if that has something to do with it or not.  Annoying!!! and I am on the do not contact list!

same scam to join "something" ...... Constant calling is a pain & invasion of Privacy!

I FILEd A COMPLAINT: Call FTC and report their number to be investigated by FTC at 877-382-4357.
You can call 888-382-1222 and get registered to BLOCK YOUR number from TRUE telemarketer. Please keep in mind ONLY tru Marketer will honor the BLOCK LIST. The FCC told me that the BLOCK list is viewed my the TELEMARKETER to AVOID then from getting fine by accidently calling the BLOCK numbers.

This does NOTHING to the scammer - they just call ANY numbers regardless of FCC/FTC violations.

The reported Scamming number goes into a LIST for investigation by an FTC investigator. if we ALL COMPLAIN about the same scamming number it may be looked at SOONER!!!

So call 877-382-4357 - FTC to file the complaint in their database.

So i called and i kept getting the same as everyone else but then i got threw one time and they hung up on me.

I've been called no less than 10 times by the "Is Maria there?" people. The first couple of times I quickly and politely told them they had the wrong number. The third call I waited and the person on the other end started in on a sales pitch. Just hung up with another "Maria" call. Told the lady that maria was out for the day, she hung up. Number look up puts the call from Brooklyn, NY. I'm in the midwest.
