There is a company called First Alert Group that is targeting elderly people and tricking them into giving information that takes $392 from their account. They have a patched up recording that they are saying is proof they have permission. There is a 30 day money back guarantee, however, when you try to get your money back, the number is supposedly a company acting like the are handling First Alert Group's finances. Then you are given a run around. I have been promised for 6 weeks now that there would be a refund. They are very rude. I have researched the company and it looks like many people are still trying to get their money back after severeral months. The numbers I have come across so far is 1-866-856-6975, 1-888-778-0081 and 1-866-395-2021. My phone number is 281-851-0770 and my mother, Myrtle Medley was the person that was contacted.

My 93 yr old mother received a call from American Savings Club, pushing supplimental health insurance. She was asked for the last 4 digits of her checking acct. for verification.
Kept telling the caller she was not interested, finally agreed to look over their brochure.
The brochure arrived, along with a welcoming letter, and her checking acct was debited for $448.74 dollars.
