Postcard call 1855-879-8217
Picture side: 2 US AIRLINE TICKETS PLUS A $50 VACATION CASH CARD and on the reverse (address side) $1000 SAVINGS CERTIFICATE-GUARANTEED SAVINGS. $500 I GUARANTEED GROCERY SAVINGS. $500 I GUARANTEED DINING SAVINGS.
I suspect this is for a VACATION/TRAVEL CLUB and sometimes a BUYING CLUB. The sales promotion sales pitch and grind is just like a time share promotion sales pitch except they explain how much better their offer is than a timeshare program. These are big business in resort areas like Pigeon Forge, TN and Branson, MO where I have seen them and no doubt other places also.
You are given a general presentation, then are paired up with a sales rep who tries to close the deal.

I received one today in the mail...for my birthday week---Fly anywhere that a US Airline flies, it says plus the 7 day Budget car rental if I call within 48 hours. The back of the "ticket" says it's offered by a Hampton Inn in our area, which it's not.  It said to call 1-866-396-3279.
I do not plan to call as I've seen on Google that this is a scam.

I got my birthday card in the mail today with the 1-866-396-3279.  I figured it was a scam.  I was surprised to find that Snopes.com doesn't have anything on this.  There is no mention of the flights being complimentary or free and on the back of the insert the Travel Sponsor address is 1414 South Patterson Boulevard Dayton, OH 45409 which is a Mariott Hotel.

I got a letter from US AIR saying they had 2 complimentary roundtrip airfares to anywhere in the continental U.S. just because my birthday is coming up.  This is the phone # to call back about it.  I had my landline phone disconnected and only use my cell phone now.  The letter said they had been "going crazy trying to contact me".  Just another scam I'm sure.

Linda, this is not from US Air. It states "Fly a US airline". From my research, I believe this is a time-share deal.

This is indeed a time share or similar spiel. I got the same "Happy Birthday" letter, and the red flag went up when I saw "Offer number" at the bottom, and "Call for details of participation. This PROMOTION is not sponsored by....UA..." on the back of the sample ticket.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I received a Birthday letter too and it has "United" (and the United airline logo) as well as "Thrifty Car Rental" offering 2 complementary roundtrip airfares to anywhere in the continental US and the offer code "0212BDSP".  I might call just for fun, plus if I do in the next 48 hours I get a complimentary 7 day car rental.  Awesome isn't it..?

Oh boy!  It's my birthday and they want to fly me to anywhere in the continental U.S. On "a US Airline".   If I call within 72 hours (starting when?) I'll also "receive a complimenatry 7 Day Rental Car!". And there's a Thrifty Car Rental logo at the bottom...  Wow!  Maybe I'll call Thrifty to reserve my car!
What a scam!  The postal permit indicates West Palm Beach, FL.  The only thing that comes from there is Timeshare Resale offers.

My two complimentary round trip airfares to anywhere in the continental U.S, was a Happy Birthday mailer
Travel Provider: All Points Travel 5051 West Creek Rd. Independence, OH 44131.I did some suffing the internet!  There is no all points travel in independence, Ohio, at least not spelled the same. There is no airline called US Airline. The Thrifty car rental logo looks ok, but on the back of the sample ticket it states, this promotion is not sponsored by or affiliated with Thrifty Car Rental. If you type in the number under your search engine it will tell you telemarketer at 1-866-396-3279. I knew this was a scam and I'm glad I found a site to tell others about this, but if you have found this site you all ready know the mailer or phone call was bogas. Wish there was another site, so more of the masses could see and beware.

So did anyone go? My husband and I are scheduled to go this month to hear a 60-90 minute promotion. What do we have to lose? When I called the woman told me: This is a promotion by our company, All Points Travel. It is not free, there are additional fees and taxes"...but it's a good value for the money.

Looks like this scam is in OHIO from this posting. I'm in Kent Ohio and got the postcard with the same stuff "Fly a US AIRLINES" "We've been going crazy trying to contact you". I called the number which looks like it changed to 1-888-766-1536. The lady said that they were South East Travel Company in Clarksville TN and we would have to drive down there from Ohio to claim our tickets. She kept insisting this wasn't a timeshare scam, which shes probably right, its not time share but some other scam. I've researched this type of offer on other sites to Tennessee in an effort to get a free flight. and there is a lot of horror stories claiming that this is a scam. You go to a power point presentation, get pressured to join a club for thousands of dollars and then have to pull teeth to get any tickets. I'm glad I didn't fall for this scam and drive

I got a Birthday Card for a free Microsoft Laptop/Notebook computer.  I called and they said my wife and I had to attend a 90 minute presentation about future travel plans we may have.  They said the seminar was in Twinsburg, Ohio which is about a half hour from my home.  The representative said they has seminars open this Wed, Thurs, Fri.  I told her I would be out of town for the rest of the week, and she said they may have something available next week and that I should call back to see if they in fact do.

That is a real address in East Syracuse. It is actually a Holiday Inn. I am not sure if the business is run out of that location. However, the website for All Points Travel lists an address in Surrey, British Columbia. The changing location is the fishy part. I would never call that number because you don't get something for nothing.
