Also received a call & informed them to stop all phone calls. They answer AMG or Private Couriers. They told me their address was 7170 Transit Road Williamsville NY 14221 when I requested to send a debt validation letter requesting information. They even started just randomly calling people apparently from the phone book which had my last name & left voice messages for me & also spoke to some.  When they call they have used AMG or Private Couriers.  Private Couriers told me they didn't have to quit calling me. I also requested them to validate the debt but haven't received anything yet.

I got a call from 855-436-9114. They "Claim" to be a Mediation Company, collecting on an old Debt of mines. They would Not provide an address, and they were very rude,said I was going to Jail, and gave false names. This is a SCAM.

Igot a phone call from that owen shore and he told that i had 2 summons going to be served on me. So i called my Lawyer and she said if they do serve me a summons bring it to her. They are using the name Omega group now. So Beware they will probably try it on you too.

They were calling to say I owe for a back debt - a repoed car from 2001. The debt had been written off my credit report. Now they were mediating for the company wanting money commitment from me and a 1099 would be issued so I could not collect any government money until it was paid.  This would include SSI or Disability or tax refunds.

He wanted a commitment over the phone. I got pissed. I said I did not receive anything from the company in question or their attornies and I want something official in writing before I do anything. The man's name was Owen Shore.

yeah i actually gave the 800.00 dollors an several weeks later received a n annomce call to tell me to nifi the ftc as they are being investecated for fraud

i keep receiving messages from various people, seems different each day on my work phone.  This time is was a lady named kimberly renolds from allied mediation 877-6760574 ext. 1010 stating there is a case against me and my case number is 703845.  thats all she said.  the other calls are from different compnays from around the US, stating there are lawsuits against me.  I took out a pay day loan over 5 years ago and paid it back IN FULL.  about 2 years ago I got a threatening call from a company and I stupidily sent them $, not knowing that I was being scammed.  they threaten my job, my license and i was scared.  also it seems they always call around tax time.  hm..?

they called me today same number 1-877-676-0574, judging by the years of concern from others id say there fake.

I think they are calling themselves WNY Solutions 5140 Main Street Suite 303 Wialliamsville, NY now, they called me at work saying I was going to jail for unpaid debt 7 years ago.  I told them to sent me somthing in writing and today I got a letter, very simliar to the other statements above.  BEWARE!!!!

I read a similar posting in relation to this frickin 866# that everyone should read up o the F.D.C.P.A (U can find it on Google) and I myself found some interesting tidbits in relation/right that I have pertaining to me.  Obviously whoever these lowlifes are is obviously missing the proper steps which I noted and highlighted page 1 on the copy that I made.

Company called my husband's previous employer and left a message for him to contact Owen Shore about a court case. My husband calls, first gets a lady who just answers saying "Hello mediation office"... he refuses to tell her who is calling and she keeps refusing to put him through to Mr Shore- then tells him Mr. Shore is on the other line and if he leaves a phone number Mr. Shore will call him back. My husband refuses and hangs up. He calls about 30 minutes later and gets none other than Owen Shore on the phone! He claims we have a 570 dollar debt but cannot give us a legitimate company name. My husband tells him he won't go anything unless he can provide us with documentation and information about the court case and the company taking us to court. He told my husband that we had 24 hours to set up payment or else we would be taken to court immediately. This is FRAUD!

BEWARE - BEWARE 'AMG' / 'Allied Mediation Group' - Owen Shore
This 'AMG' began harassing my grandmother over an alleged old cell phone account for my husband...now he has never in any way been affiliated with her # or address so how they got that #, I don't know.  Anyways, they left a message claiming that there was a 'summons' in their office for a case against him and that he needed to contact their office immediately.  The call scared her and she called me.  When I called, I got a voice mail for 'Owen Shore' saying he was out of town or 'consulting'.  I wanted to speak to someone immediately yet there was no operator for the company.  What legal firm does not list their full name or have a live operator or receptionist?!?  So  I start trying random extensions and get this girl who says the company name is AMG but won't give any other info.  I tell her I want to speak to this 'attorney' immediately and she transfers me to this Rachel Anderson person who pulls up the 'case file' and tells me that this 'Owen Shore' has left due to a family emergency and that they are trying to 'mediate' a settlement on this old debt.  I tell her that I dispute the validity of such a debt and she says she'll mark on the account our refusal to comply.  I reiterate that should she provide detailed and written verifiable proof that this is a legitimate debt, then we would pay it.  I even give a contact # and an address to mail this information to.  After several days, nothing ever arrives and this "Owen" character calls, again on a # not given to them, stating that he's mediating a settlement and that if we don't pay they'll 'do something with my husband's ss# which he was not going to disclose to me'.  I tell him that I'm not paying anything unverified and that if it's a legitimate debt they should have that information.  He gets huffy and says he's marking the file as a refusal to comply and sending it back to the attorney who retained him, and hung up on me.  I called back about 30 minutes later to try and get some info about this company and get this 'Clark Kasenmeyer'? who says that the company name is Allied Mediation Group, and why do I want to know the name of the company & address because my questions are "creeping him out"?!?  Now originally they had no operator to reach yet suddenly he's just the operator and the computer shows that the file is gone now and he can't answer any questions or transfer me back to this Owen guy...and blah, blah, blah.  They claim to work for an attorney but they never would give me an attorney's name!  This is one of the dirtiest companies I've ever heard from and I don't believe a thing they say...reading the preceding posts just proves that point more!  Beware people...Sounds like  another bad SCAM!!!

Got my call from a Tom Johnson on my message machine (they seem to have simple names)to return call to this number but when I did got voice mail, left message to not call my phone any more but send what ever supposed "case" you had against me via US Mail, certified.  Tom's message asked "is this tax evasion,? beacause if it is I don't want anything to do with it".  I geuss that was to make it sound 'official and important'.  I already knew the scam because "Jason" from Evan Law &Associates in Buffalo had called me 3 months ago and told them to $%^&-off and send anything US Mail.Then I started calling "Jason" back and he got very upset and stopped answering his phone.after the third time! filed complaint with 8th Judical District, Attorney Grievence Committee, 438 Main St. Ste800, Buffalo, 14202-3211. will do so again.  thanks for great info.

I received a call saying they wanted to mediate a 1099c for me, with a case number including the last 4 digits of my SS#. I googled the number and was amazed at the response. What a bunch of low-life .............

I just got a call from 866-403-5319, and was told that I was going to be sued, if I do not pay $700 for a debt that stems back from 2004. The company is called, AMG. They would not provid me with any information about the company or anything at all, they said they do not even have a website. This is 2008, EVERY ONE UNDER THE SUN HAS A WEBSITE. They are nothing more than a COLLECTION AGENCY, and can not call to threaten people, especially representing themselves as lawyers or mediators. I KNOW THE LAWS, PLEASE READ THE RULES AND LAWS OF THE F.D.C.P.A, GOOGLE THAT AND KNOW YOUR RIGHTS...

First off, if that letter is from AMG, it is bogus. I lived in the Buffalo, NY area (where Williamsville is a suburb) and the local area code is 716, not 404

My mom got a message from them about a suit concerning my wife. When she called, she talked to this Mack Thompson guy and said they had deposited over $1500 in one of our bank accounts in May of 05. He claims to have a judgement pending against her. Unless she makes arrangements to pay the $1500, the judgement will be $5000. I SMELL A RAT!  When she gets served actual judgement papers from a constable or sheriff with all of the necessary backup from this "company", then I may believe it. I have googled his name and the company name with no significant luck. During rough economic times like these, the crooks come out of the woodwork!

I got a call from a man name Mack Thompson and he said he was with Allied Mediation Group.  He wanted me to give my bank account information to him. I told I wasn't, he got a little angry.  He called from a number listed as Lisa Brown (404)975-4764 and then he called from (208)286-2939. He said if I didn't give the information to him immediatley, I will be sued. I ask for something in writing, he faxed me a letter just like the letter above. I think it is fraud.

I received all of the information listed above except it was for my brother who lives very far from me. They told me that they were going to represent my brother in a case and that it was in his best interest that he call them. When I told them that I thought they were a collection agency, the man said, "Well if your brother is not going to believe you that we have a case set up for him..." and then he went on to say, "he couldn't tell me more about the case and if I wasn't going to be helpful, then never mind." I told him to "f*** off". Then after I found this information, I called back and told them where to stick it... They won't be calling back!

Have yet to receive a call back from this @#$ and I am sooooooo ready to RANT right back and btw heres a copy of the letter starting off w/ the questionable address........ DISCUSS

A&G is Allied Mediation Group..... what the heck is that. Allied= ALL LIED?!?!?  
When you call the number depending what state you are living in, if you call when they are closed the woman heard on the answering machine says "AMG" and mentions East Coast?   Would'nt their FULL NAME be mentioned? Hmmmm......  When I inputed the extension # of the person supposedly handling my situation it is customary that I get his voice being its his supposed voice mail box.   I got a automated voice and it said I AM OFF FOR THE WEEKEND blah blah blah
I smell FAKE and  FRAUD and every imaginable word I can think of but choose not to go there.
I am soooooo waiting for this call #3 so I can really say what is on my mind and document.
So to sum it up, Yeah you are supposed to have been served papers first by whatever company that u owe $$$ first, not the other way around.  Never give Banking Information over the phone or any other information until whoever you are communicating with is legimate.  If you do who knows that they will be draining out an additional amount without your consent.

Yvonne, your experience is similar to mines. I googled the number and seem to not find any legitimate information about these people.  I like to know who I am dealing with and not some cloak and dagger operation.  Anyways at least "2" red flags I did not catch cause I was in a WHAT THE HECK state at first. First he mentions a very old previous address and assumed I was in another state. And yeah he mentions the last four numbers of my social which also appears only in 4 numbers on their letter.
Red flag number 2 was the amount he mentioned and the actual total I read on the to be agreed upon letter I got in my email.   I googled the address listed and BOY there is also interesting and amusing stories about that address too also.  They are insisting that I disclose my banking information so that a automatic payment system can be set up. LIKE HELL I AM GOING TO AGREE TO THAT!
I want credentials and a copy from this supposed case against in my hands before I agree onto anything!

This company called and said they had a civil case where I am the defendent and left a number to contact a mediator.  They also left a case ID number and used the last four digits of my social security number.  However, I looked up the case ID number with the local courts and they said this case ID number is from an old case not associated with me but was closed over 10 years ago.
I don't think this company is legit eventhough I have 2 outstanding bills with collection agencys.

When asked they say there not a collection agency, they said they are a mediator and talk of lawsuits and court costs associated with an old debt of mine. This whole thing reeks of fishyness.
