it is so annoying. They called me three times in two hours, and when I said hello, they said nothing and hung up. I tried calling back once too.

Got a call today at 11:17.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
Got a call yesterday from 8664864901 at 17:59, same thing...

I too just received a call from this number; tried to call back but it gave me a busy sound.

WTF talked to this old lady on the phone who said I won a sweepstakes.  I didn't want to get anything so I wanted to be forwarded to the supervisor so I could tell them not to do anything.  However, the "supervisor" antagonized me on the phone because I wouldn'tI  buy the stupid magazines.

I thought I put my cell phone on the do not call list grrrr

JUST received the call haha...i spoke to the lady about me winning some sweepstakes (yeah sure) and whether I use any of the major credit cards...

she then asked me about my hobbies, my age range, my marital status, and which card i use the most for (no details such as my card #, etc.)

i felt like telling her those vague things wouldnt give away anything, so i did, and then she proceeded to try to sell my magazines, which i KEPT saying i already had and did not need more of. finally she gave up and just asked to confirm my mailing address: she got it right (or the room # was slightly off by 1 digit) so i just said it was correct and give her my zip code. it's my dorm address anyways, 3 more months and im not there anymore haha.

i think its just the ploy to sell magazines.

okay, it seems to have happened to me too.  Two calls today.  I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number.  They did not leave a message.  I refuse to call them back.

got a call on my tracfone from this number, no message left....i don't fill out forms, sign up for contests or free offers = i don't use my units to return calls to unknown individuals & my message states that!

i got the same thing in lawrence, kansas...today twice around 3:30 and then 7:30

i did go to a wedding expo and give out my number thats the only thing i can think of

Ive been getting the same calls for the last 3 days. I dont pick up and I call back and there is a busy signal. Do you guys really think its a sweepstakes thing? I did fill out a couple of sweepstakes recently on the coke/pepsi rewards caps website where you have to put in your phone number as well. Any one else do the same?

It's a scam to get your credit card information, I listened to them they said they answered me into a sweepstakes for cash and prizes for having either an AMEX, Discover, Visa, or Mastercard (which everyone has).  Basically they use that to get you not to hang up, saying your credit card company entered them in a sweepstakes and they're calling to tell you what it's about.  They tell you all this good nonsense, then tell you to buy one of their magazines for a small fee.  Don't trust them, don't give out your CC#, sounds like the people are from one of those call center's in India as well.

Called my cell phone a few times in the last couple of days. They hang up in a second or so without saying a word. Irritating.

I experienced the same thing.  They called me twice, once in the afternoon and once in the evening.  No reply when I said hello, no sign of a person on the other end.  I didn't bother calling back.

Funny thing happened, I ranout of prepaid minutes on my cell and they ran out 4 days ago so noone can call me, somehow though this 866-406-5183 called me though and got through.  Dont know who it was, they said my brother's name then it hung up.  Even more than i want to know who it was, i wanna know how they got thru to my phone when i have no minutes on it.  Weird.

This number has called me three times in the past two days.  I haven't answered my phone because I don't know the number nor do I wish to speak with telemarketers.  The only good thing about this is that I know I'm not the only one getting a call from this number nevertheless I wish they'd stop.  They've called while I'm at work, home, and in class.

Yeah, I find it annoying though. They called me twice in one day (Once at about 2:30, then again at around 7:00). How irritating T__T

they called me at school and they knew my name...i hung up on them

Called me twice and didn't answer and then called back.  One time it was busy and then the next it sadi it was customer service and I would be contacted and then disconnected.
