repeated calls, no ones on the other line.

I just spoke with "Megan" from 1-866-407-8671. They have been calling all the time. This is the third time they called today. My wife usually just hangs up but I decided to answer. Megan stated that she was with a "Rewards Program". She stated that I recently used a card ended in ####, which she knew the numbers, at a 'partner store' and that I qualified for a free gift for using the card. She wanted to send me a $100 Walmart gift card and some 'package' that included programs that would give me discounts. I started to ask Megan questions like... what are these programs... what are the names of these reward programs. She said that she'd tell me in a minute. Then she asked I still received mail at my street address, again which she knew. I said yes but that I don't want this package. I'm not interested. She then tried to start a phone recording and asked me to say my full mailing address. As soon as the recording started I told her I was not interested and I never read off my full mailing address. She kept saying that the rewards package is free you've earned it and I had to keep pressing her I don't want it. I asked Megan to go ahead and give the $100 gift card to a charity and she said that I could give it to a family member and I responded, good you give it to your family member. I'm not interested. She said that she was about to restart the recording to get my address and then she just hung up on me. Poor girl... tough job working for a scam company.  

THIS IS A SCAM. They only know your street address and last 4 digits. Don't provide ANY info to them at all. Do NOT give them your mailing address.

I've been getting these calls, sometimes twice a day. Exact same story as above, gave the last 4 digits of my card and started in on on the whole rewards $100 gas card blah blah blah. At first I tried to be nice to them, and told them no. Then it go to the point where they would hang up the second I said no thank yo......click, I did let them go on for a bit once to find out what they were selling and it's one of those, "We'll enroll you in this and that service (there were a bunch of things) and then all you have to do is cancel if you don't like it" They called me non-stop for about 3 weeks before I finally called my phone company and had them block the number. Well it's about 3 months later and I guess the block has ended because I just received my 3rd call in 2 days.

This is a scam of some sort. My credit card company had no idea who they were. They may very well offer some legit services, but they are "hard sell" to say the least, and their methods are as obnoxious as they come. Two traits I I certainly don't look for when I'm going to do business with anybody.
