Completely legit. They cause several hundred dollars worth of debit card fraud for me. Call them back ASAP! They can really help you!

Who calls from this number and what do they want.

I got this phone call also and it IS YOUR BANK'S VISA CARD calling. When I called them back, I was suspicious as I always am about unknown numbers. They did have an automated VISA system pick up, which recognized my phone number and said it was VISA calling on behalf of my bank, First Financial Bank. Since they did not leave a message, I did not have a case number, so I just pressed zero to get the next operator. She asked if this was the number they were calling (I said yes) and then she pulled up my account. She did not ask me for any information that was too personal. She said that they show that I live in Burlington, KY and she asked me to verify the zip code. Then, she said that she had my birthdate as a date in July and she asked me to verify which date it was. She never asked for my full date of birth or social security card.

After I verified my information, she told me they were calling to check for possible fraud on some recent purchases, they she went on to tell me what the purchase amount was for and where I made the charges at. Now if it were fraud, how would they know where I have been charging, especially since they never asked for my card number or personal identification. I have no doubt that this phone number is legit. Also, sometimes fraud departments call after normal business hours.

IF YOU HAVE A BANK-ISSUED VISA CARD, CALL THIS NUMBER BACK. IT COULD SAVE YOU A LOT OF HASSLE! Your individual bank teller may not know this number because this is a central processing center for VISA, not your bank's individual department.

I had one call me about 10:30 pm one night to question a recent charge on my VISA and it was fraud and they shut my card down. Thank goodness they did, or someone could have robbed me blind.
