Why do you continue to call my number without leaving a reason for the call and who you are trying to contact??

This is Portfolio Recovery Services.  They are a collection company that buys up old, charged-off debts, then attempts to collect them.
They are extremely rude, and nasty.  There are several complaints against them.

All I get from this number is a half number to call back an a address to write to. No idea who for nothing. Its a recoreded message, I finally got a full number to call back and no answer!

My fiance gets several calls from this number a day. 8664188102....They are a company called portfolio recovery. A nasty skip tracing collection agency. They call any number....

Have answered this call from this number several times but no one comes on the line, I have no idea who this is or what they need from me. Very strange.

I just reported to the Attorney General.  I suggest everyone else do the same.  I have been getting these calls for many months, on my cell phone.  Don't even know the person they are asking for.  Have asked them at least 20 times to remove my number.  They say they will, but they never do.

They have called multiple times asking for a Max Retter.  I have no idea who they are and DO NOT owe any money nor am I Max. This is VERY frustrating.

When I answer, no one comes on the line, then the call hangs up. Never leaves a message, Never anyone there.  I WANT to talk to them, I am ready for them,
Don't owe any one any money.  So, I am locked and loaded.  My credit score is over 800.

this number calls me 5 times a day now.I have no idea why but now it is harrassment.

Calls and never leaves a message

this number calls some days up to five times, no message left just hang ups.  Tonight I answered and spoke with this women who may  have drank 12 cups of coffee she was rude, belligerent and keep insisting she was "professionally trained"  when I was able to get a word in she kept alluding to attorneys fees and court cost.  I asked her for what?  An account that was closed.  When I would ask her a question to obtain more information about what exactly she was trying to collect, she kept telling me I was refusing to pay. What?  Don't I have a right to ask questions.  Then she asked me to hold while her supervisor/attorney got on the line I said gladly.  I got hung up on.  I too was told they had mailed letters ( none of which I have recieved) and when I told this women so she called me a liar.

We started saving their recording in our voice mail box.  We have 20 that we saved.   It is the same exact recording every time.  They call any time of the day and night and day of the week.  We have more than one number on our caller ID and it is always them.  We have never gotten anything in the mail from them.  I'm tired of this.

This number calls, but there is no one on the line.  I answer, hear nothing, then hang up.  I've called the number, but it's apparently a fax line.  Hmm.

I got a call today from that number. It was a woman, I wasn't at home at that moment, so my husband answered the phone. He said that she asked for me, so he told her that i wasn't home. He asked her what her name was and if she wanted to leavea a message, but she refused. There was no caller ID so when I got home he told me about the call. Since that was the last call that he answered I used the call back number service (*69) and that is how i got the number. It is weird that they don't leave a message or a reason why they are calling.

I called this number and it was a fax line. This fax line is calling my cell phone at least 3 times a day. The one time I was able to answer the call, at 8:50pm, there was no one on the line. I keep sending a fax to this number but the calls keep coming

They called my husband i didn't answer the phone and they called again probably they thought that's only me and him live in the house and said that they called month ago and his wife answered the phone i never told them i'm his wife. and this lady continues do you know this person? once she calls Paula, once Melissa, Andrea.
 Later she goes and tries to ask me question like some police they're so mean questions like how long you are living here with whom you're living here. no, mam !! i'm not answering you these questions you're just mean who doesn't know how to speak to the person.
