I just received a message from an Ashley Johns.  Are these people for real?

These people have called my brother and my step father saying the same thing and I have never used them as a reference and we don't even have the same last names! I just had a voice mail on my work phone! How can you stop them?

Called both my and my wifes cell phones looking for someone neither  of  us know.  Claimed that there was a file for Vickie Allen.  I think  they were looking for information on myself  or a family member.

I have same guy called me few days ago. He said his name was Joseph Hubbard. He was looking for my brother's information. He said that there was a Breach of Contract claim with Wellsfargo. He was rude so I just hanged up on him after I told not to call my number again. I think it's some kind of scam.

My sister in law informed me that this number called her cell phone asking for me. I know for a fact that I had never given her as a reference on my past credit card bill applications as I had signed up for them over 5 years ago and I didn't even know her then. I still kept my maiden name so I don't even know how they know we are related.

These people keep calling my in-laws and have been told repeatedly that it is the wrong number, they have been rude, shouting at them and upsetting them a great deal

Received a voice mail message today from a man who said his name was Chris and that he was calling from NRS and that he just received a document on his desk this morning referencing a claim I filed then gave me the file number.  He said if I had an attorney handling this that he would speak to my attorney.  I have no idea who these people are and I know I didn't file any claims anywhere for anything.  Does anyone know what this is about?  Sounds to me like either a phishing scam or some kind of rogue debt collector...

Some guy named Chris called my little brothers cell phone and asked for me. He said it was regarding  legal document that pertained to me and for him to tell me to return his call. Chris also claimed that I had put my brother down as a reference. This is not true. I have never put my brother as a reference.

I suspect these people are using public records to find out information. How he got my cell phone number , I have no idea. He even knew that he was my brother. Scary!!

A woman calls and asks for my sister by name at my house.  I have nothing to do with her debts.  She leaves an extension 118

They are NRS a regular dept collecting agency, nothing more, nothing less.
Years ago our home was ransacked while we were out of town tending to my wife's late mother in the hospital, over 20,000 dollars of furniture and electronics were stolen from our home, NRS  came after us after we quit paying on the stolen property, they have no sympathy and nothing was insured.
Why should I pay on things that are no longer in my possesion ?
My wife like her mother has passed away from cancer, but NRS has no sympathy.
These people are rude and cruel, and threaten me with a lawyer, which means nothing if you have nothing.
Debt collectors cannot get anything that you don't give them, they are not the IRS,they are NRS.
