MPRS? that company used to be decent. now they have a s*** hole as office, and they let anybody i mean anybody that can even say a couple of words in English work for them. The guy that runs the office in Medellin is an a***ole and is always trying to sleep with the female employees. I never worked for them but I got to know the owners and their modus operandi.

This is a BAD company with BAD owners.

Their boss is named Robert schwartz, and they´re indeed located in Medellin a Mike Pay guy is also involved...from there you got the name, it's their initials, I worked for them for a year and they made us call at unreasonable hours, no breaks only one and it was 3 hours and a half long, not to mention all the bad things that come along with this company, THEY ARE A SCAM AND ABUSIVE WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES

Everytime they call (3 or 4 times a day) nobody answers when I challenge them. I have called Bell Canada and they will not do a damn thing about it. It is very annoying and i am thinking about getting an airhorn and using an ild phone and blast it in their ear if they repond

Enough - Another one blocked!  I think some day I will reach my maximum number of blocked numbers. - I think Rogers gives you 50.  Gessh. - Annoying... 9pm at night.  I wouldn't call anybody, at home, this late unless it was very important, but these eh-holes have no issue with it. :~

Recycling Matters/Diabetes Association - they are annoying, call their 416# and have them remove you number from their calling list.

THey are now claiming they are called the diabetes association. call their 416 # and have them remove your number from the calling list. I just did, now hopefully they get the message!!!!!!

We receive sometimes as many as 3 calls a day and have started tracking the calls.

Keep calling and when we answer they hang up.

This number calls me everyday, multiple time a day. No one is ever in the other end, I called the number back and all I get is a busy signal. What a total joke the Do not call list is.

They call hourly and when picked up no one answers. Call back number is always busy.

Not only do they keep calling, but if you don't answer that number, another number will call you an hour later...and so on. I have kept track of all the numbers that try to contact me almost everyday. I, too, am on the DO NOT CALL  list...what a joke.

Since the 29 Gervais Drive address they use is a Medical Centre and they are not listed as tenants it is fair to use their own tactic against them. I think my standard response to them from now on will be 24 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario . . .

29 Gervais Drive is the Don Mills Eglinton Medical Centre. There is NO business called Recycling Matters listed at that address.

Recycling Matters is NOT a charity . . . at least not one recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency, although they claim to be working for charity.

Community Living Ontario/INTEGRATION COMMUNAUTAIRE ONTARIO is registered as a Canadian Charity and may be more responsive to any complaints about their telemarketer.

Regardless of where the call originates from, it is a legitimate charity behind it. Recycling Matters is actually providing a service to home-owners by offering to arrange the pick-up of no longer wanted good used clothing and small household items. These items are purchased by thrift stores like Valu-Village and the charity receives funds. Your good used items do not go into a landfill and you don't have to leave your home to get rid of the stuff you don't want. Each different charity organization does their own front work to organize the calls and make pickup arrangements. I have had calls from Community Living Assoc., Diabetes Assoc., Cerebral Palsy as well as several other recognized and licensed charities.
It's a shame (and VERY annoying!) that the calls stem from an offshore call centre but that is probably the most cost effective method of getting the message out. Non-profit's financials have to stand up to close scrutiny in order to show that their administration costs are being kept as low possible so that the maximum percentage from every dollar collected goes to the programs that each group operates.
I have a cordless phone that allows me to key in the name of the charity so that when they call, my caller id shows who it is. If I know who it is, I'm more likely to answer. After speaking with the rep. the calls stop until the next rotation. I'm still PO'd at the computer generated calling system used but not as pissed as when I don't know who it is that is consistently disturbing me.

I have exactly the same issue. Really ticks me off but it never stops. Every day a call.

How do I get this sender to quit phoning my home?

I have been getting calls from this number as well, always with a hang up when I answer. I phoned back and yes it's recycling matters. i told the lady it was so annoying being hung up on and stop calling, as i want off their list again. I will try some of the suggestions from previous posters, and give a phony address as a last resort should they call again, which they probably will! I have worked in a store that dealt with donations, and I know someone who picked up donations, and all i will say it's all a gimmick. I will never donate to these *organizations*, my donations will go to real charities such as St Vincent de paul and Salvation army.

They keep calling me for clothing donations so I keep giving them a fake address to pick them up. Not sure when they are going to figure it out!!! LOL.

Just called their office phone and they said they have an issue with their 'predictive dialer' which is resulting in the numerous 'hang up' calls.  They offered to remove me from their list and I agreed.

Called 416.446.1620 as mentioned above and asked to be removed.  Hopefully that does it.
