I've gotten called at my parent's house and my mom is a retired FBI agent who asks more questions than she gives answers to. I requested their address to pick the package up and that was refused. I'm filing a formal complaint to the Attorney Generals office as well as a complaint to the FTC.  These are extremely illegal collection practices and should continuously be reported.

They have been calling and asking for my address, and my mom gave it out. What do they need this for.

Debt Collector
This was used by a debt collector on a debt that had been satisfied. They got a piece of my real mail so I would recognize the sender of the so called package. I know who did it, have proof and have turned over to prosecuting attorney and reported to better business. Grishsm- your exposed!

This company put a pre-printed delivery sticky note at my door with a hand written tracking number on it.  It was addressed to a business entity that we recently incorporated, but have done done business under just yet.  Anyway, I called the number two days ago and left them my contact info like the recorder message asked, supposedly for someone to contact me the same or next business day to arrange for a delivery.

No call now for over 72 hours and I have tried numerous times to contact them today only now I get a fast busy signal when  I call the number on the note.

I tried the website on the sticky note "nwcourierservice.com" and it is "currently under construction"

something fishy going on here....

They just called me at my office. The number she gave me for callback is 866-506-4415. Said she was Heather with A1 Delivery out of Seattle, WA. When I call the number back it says "Nationwide Courier". Very suspicious. I told her to send the package back....

This A-1 delivery called for me last night at my PARENTS house. Said they had a delivery for me from Target. They were delivering for UPS they said. Asked when I'd be home, where I worked, etc etc. Luckily my mother didn't give out any identifying information but how unnerving. I called A1 Delivery in Houston and was advised this is indeed a scam.

I was told to call this number for "Nationwide Courier Service" to arrange for a package to be delivered to my house.  No such company exists according to the Better business Bureau. Then they called again, from 216-485-4360 fishing for personal info (where I work).

Actually, they cannot block your number.  It is a ruse.  They are still listening when you call back, behind that fake-o greeting that claims you are calling from an "invalid number".  Night Watchman is right, keep  calling  this "company",  what are they going to do, report abuse?  To do that would have to file a proper report and provide information which would in turn  expose them for what they really are - criminals.

These cowards think they cannot be traced, hiding behind their 866 number. The can be and will be, I urge all of you to forward this number to the FBI, US Secret Service, and your local authorities. They are violating numerous laws and will be caught IF you take the time to report them. Strength in numbers people! In the meantime turn the tables on them. Find multiple public phones, dial their number, and when you get to the point to leave a message, annoy them by pressing a number and hold steady until they hang up. Trust me it annoys the hell out of them, as they are listening with headsets. Repeat as often as you can, until they eventually block that number. When they do, and they will, find another public phone and repeat as often as you can. They will be caught and put in prison, but until then, put these low-life dirtbags on the defensive and do not allow them to take adantage of other people.

I got a call stating the same thing.  She had my b-day and everything. She asked for my work address and I gave it to her!  They must have called 15 times before I answered too!  I'm worries about what they can do with this information??  The caller ID said that it was a UPS Store!

She said her name was April Brown, scheduling a package delivery from A-1 Delivery. Local number (507)285-3301 that is disconnected when you call it back. She gave me a tracking number and tried to verify my place of employment. She also had my birthdate which I thought was real strange.

I had a woman named April Brown call to say I had a package coming in from Columbus and she was trying to get my correct address to send it to me. First she said she was from A-1 Delivery, there is a company with that name but the tracking number she gave me doesn't match. Then when I spoke to her again she said she was from UPS, again tracking number didn't match. The local number she called from is listed as Emery Freight out of Ohio, which hasn't been in business in years, That number was 937 264-6000. When calling that number all you get is a busy signal. And the toll free number just takes you to a voice mail.

this is a scam ran by people trying to get info for credit or other things. They called me claiming the same thing.called from a local disconnected number wanting my home address for delivery and place of employment. They use many toll free 866 numbers and block you from calling once you leave a message.Contact your local police and report this. I have the FBI and other agencies looking into this. They will be caught and sent to prison. Check to make sure your credit hasn't been used.
