SCAM. Same #s as the folks above mentioned. Same story after buying something from tv or online. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR CC # TO VERIFY. If you bought something and paid that company with a cc they have all your info.

Got the same type as a 3 in 1 call after purchasing online for an As Seen on TV. Now I have to call four different companies tomorrow and tell them where to go.

After purchasing an item online, someone from this number called claiming to verify my home address (and said my item is in route) called to offer a free 14 day trial risk free as long as I give them my credit card number. After declining this offer nicely, they tried to pressure me into giving them any credit card number after stating I didn't have the one I had purchased the item with. I am planning on calling the merchant during business hours tomorrow morning to look further into this SCAM. The call came in after 8:30pm PST

I got the same type of call from 866-379-2003 after I bought a Topstyler hair curling system last week. They are smooth talkers. I had a lady talk to me first about this budget saver plan that is supposed to save money in grocery stores, restaurants, etc. for $1 for two week trial and they will charge the card I used to buy my Topstyler with. Just for trying the budget saver I would get $120 in gas vouchers to keep even if I didn't want to continue the budget saver.  Then after two weeks if I want it just $29.95 to stay on the budget saver or call the number and cancel before 2 weeks is up. Then she had a supervisor get on the line and confirm she went over everything she was supposed to and he then asked for my card number and expiration date to confirm I had that card. I told him he should have it why should I give it to him again. He said I could give it to him minus the security identifcation number on the back of the card. I finally told him I am not comfortable giving out my credit card to anyone over the phone and that my husband told me NOT to do it. So then he gave me his name "Carl Crews" agent #1217. Then he gave this number and said it was the customer service at Topstyler 866-434-6600 M-F 8 am to midnight standard time. Also gave me the phone number they called me from saying if I change my mind to call and I could still get those gas vouchers. Something tells me that he gave me a bogus customer service phone at Topstyler cuz it brought me to this page when I checked it on internet.  BEWARE OF THIS TYPE OF CALL, I watch Clark Howard and I listen to him say never give out your credit card number over the phone to anyone!!!! I may have saved myself a ton of money by saying NO, NO, NO!!!

I got about 6 calls from 866-379-2003 in the span of 8 hours. I picked up on the last one and this fast talking sales guy told me he was sending out $40 gas cards to me and all I had to do was confirm my date of birth minus the year. I asked where he got my info from and he said he didnt know. I didnt have any interest in the stuff they were selling so all I said was "no no no no......no" all the time. I called the number back after they told me they were sending me the cards and I got a machine and was told to either press 1 to be called back (really stupid if you do that), be placed on their Internal DNC list, or to speak to a live rep. I picked the live rep and they were closed at 5PM when I called at 4PM. I'll follow up when I get the gas cards in the mail and have to go through hell to cancel everything.
