The same thing happened to me!  I had to set this number to my call reject list because they would call every hour on the hour.  No one was ever there and if I called the number back, it said they were closed or that all circuits were busy.  The fact that this has happened to so many people is scary!

Have been receiving phone calls at least once a day.  Today I recieved 2. I answer the phone no one responds.  this really frightens me.  Happens again, I will put in a call to our local police.

I am sick to death of these sleazos!  I've gone round and round with people calling from this number way back before I moved from Texas last summer!  They called me down there and now up here in NM they started calling me on my new number within a month of my move!  Once, I did reach someone and the calls slowed down and finally, during November - April they stopped.  Now they've started up again and with a vengence!

19 calls yesterday and today!  I've taken to clicking on my FAX machine to answer when I see that number show up on my Caller ID.  I thought that since they obviously are using computers to call numbers, it would likely pick up that another machine was answering and they would drop my number.  NO SUCH LUCK!  They're still friggin' calling!

Isn't there supposed to be a law against computer generated calling!?  Isn't there a law against calling those on the DNC lists!?  I GUESS NOT!!!  They're doing it and they are very nasty and blatent about it too, judging from the comments I have been reading here!

Can anyone think of a way to bust these people? Better Business Bureau? Lawsuit? They WILL NOT STOP CALLING me, 8 to 9 times a day. I asked the guy to take me off the calling list and he said 'no, I'm in charge here, take the cotton out of your ears and listen.' I asked his name and he said Dan Murphy. Help!!

this number calls me atleast 5 times a day.  I dont know if it has anything to do with the fact i lost my wallet with ALL my info, even passport and social security, but since then i get calls and heard a voice one time talking about capital 1 or something? i denied it and still receive the calls from 7 in the morning until maybe 8 at night! I just got a new card.. is it in any danger?

Call 7-9 times a day. When I am not home, they hang up on my wife. When I answered, they said they had my Mastercard info and wanted to send me free gas cards. I lied and told them I did not have a credit card, and then they hung up on me. The first call came up under the 8664351119 number, not less than 10 minutes later, another call came in under just 0. I spoke to the man, and he offered the same thing.When I told him I no longer wanted him or his company to call me, he PRETENDED like he could not hear me. He kept saying Hello, and I cat hear you. Then he ended the call. This is a total scam, and I am reporting them to the authorities.

I've been getting these calls 5-6 times a day. I've also gotten the one were they had my Visa number. How do we stop these A-Holes???

I was at work and they called and they talked to my mom, they told her my card number and that they would mail a package to me and i would have 10 days to cancel. This was after she told them no. But when i tried to call and cancel the number says im sorry are office is closed call back during normal business hours.

THEY ARE COLLING ME EVERY TWO WEEKS OR LESS AND WHEN I TAKE THE PHONE NEVER ANSWER BUT BEFORE THEY COLLED ME TWO GIFE ME SOME GIFE CARDS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

I keep getting calls from this number, but like everyone else, the calls end are there is no one there. how can we find out who this is and stop the calls.

They called me 5 times aday for 3 weeks when I asked to speak to their supervisor they hung up.

I have been receiving calls for months now.  Same deal,  On the rare occasion that I answer they no longer say anything.  I have noticed that sense I stopped answering the calls have gotten fewer and farther between.  When i do answer the volume of calls seem to pick up for the following week or two.  
Today though i received a call from a blocked number and did answer.  They gave me the line mentioned by someone above about being affiliated with my credit card company, they had the last four digits of my card and after pushing her I found out they already had my home address as well. The women told me they were going to send out a $200 gift cert for Wall Mart after verifying some information.  She was rushing me trying to keep me a little confused hoping I would just go along but when I started questioning her she got hostile and ended the call by telling me she was going shopping.  I took that as meaning with my credit card.  She did mention the name of her company was Capital Rewards.  After the call I alerted my credit card who sent me out a new card however I am concerned with identity theft.  I hope these people don't have enough of my info to start a new credit card with my information.

these guys are scammers.  what agency can we report them to?  they keep calling regarding a card i already cancelled because i used it on an unreputable site.  and they want to make a 2 dollar small deduction as a handling fee for hundreds of dollars of gift cards, obviously to see if the card's working then they'll take all your cash.

they can't even tell me the bank that issued the card; they don't even know it's a debit card.  Liars.  I'm sick of it.  almost swore at the lady today.  10th  call

I'm thinking about checking into what has to be done to start a class action law suit. I should check into creating an email account for people to write to who have been scammed by this company. Just to see how many folks might potentially be part of a law suit It's time to put an end to these fast talking thieves. They call from different numbers. Keep reporting it.

This number (866-875-8720) has called me everyday.  I sometimes say, "is this capital one" or "piss off to them and they hang up. THey always hang up and you try to call the number back and it is busy. Today I decided to listen to them and they said that they were from Capital Rewards and are sending 2- $100 gift cards as well as $300 in grocery Coupons to me. I asked how I received these prizes and they stated I made an online purchase thru one of their partner affiliates. I said I didn't recall any purchases when I know I made 2 online purchase 2 months ago in which I was scammed also. BriteTeethPro and another Teeth whitener company sells you the product for the shipping cost of .99 and 1.99 but actually they charge you for a membership at 80 and 100 dollars inwhich they claim they cannot refund.  SO I went to my bank and told them about Brite teeth pro scam and the bank refunded me my 84.99.  Then it happened again and the other company charged so I called them talked to a little snatch for 20 min before I talked to her manager. I told him that what he and his company are doing is a scam and since I know many Seattle Radio DJ's I was going to advertise in the state of WA that they are a scam and will take your money and that the products are no good. After I told him that he agreed to refun me in full...which tool 5 days. I dont understand why these people cant be prosecuted. They are obviously scaming and purposley agrivating everyone. Plus using public phone lines, using profanity, and Lord knows how many other laws their breaking. CAPITAL REWARDS 866 435 1119 OR 8720. Shouldnt be too hard to find them. If anyone is out there where they actually stole money from please contact the law.

I keep getting calls fromt these people too.  I keep telling them to take me off the list only to discover next day that they called me using a different phone #... They keep telling me that I'm a "preferred" customer.  I told the sales guy if I'm so important to your so called rewards program then to send me the cards for free!  I hung up and they called back a few hours later haha.  These people have no life!

These people have called me twice offering me a $300 gas card.  I didn't let them get any further, I asked them to take me off their call list. I haven't gotten another call but they usually call around 6pm.  This is very annoying.

I keep getting calls from callers who identify themselves as being with Capital Rewards.  These people call more than 5 times a day to my work number! I have asked to speak to their manager and they refuse to put me through to someone.  The person I talked to this morning said I should have never listed this number if I didn't expect to get calls!  I Just hung up from one of their callers who when I told him that I wanted the name and number of his supervisor he said are you ready and when I said yes he hung up!  This isn't the first time I've been hung up on when I've asked them a question, asked for their name or asked for their supervisor's name and number.  They keep telling me that I earned gift cards from some purchase I made with my VISA card.  And, they also know my name, address and last four numbers of my VISA.  With all the scams going around, this is very concerning!  Someone has to put a stop to this!

Have had many dead calls from thsi number and many saying that I have free gifts. Total Scam. One yesterday the lady said she was calling regarding my American Express Card. I said are you actually calling from Amex. She said 'huh?" whats Amex. I said you seriously dont know what Amex is, you are a total joke, she hung up. Will that end the calls, I doubt it!

Claimed they were calling from Capital Rewards.  Had my Visa exp date and last four digits of the Visa.  Wanted to send me some free gift cards, a $150 gas card and a $250 card for something else.  He tried to ask me to start confirming information... he had my address right.  I wouldn't confirm it.  I asked what bank they were from, if they were from CapitalOne, he said no, they were a subsidiary of my bank, but couldn't tell me which one because they haven't verified my identity yet (for my protection, of course).  Then, he hung up on me.

Received a few calls from this.  Spoke with someone who went through all of the great offers.  They knew my name, address and last 4 digits of my credit card.  Asked to verify my birth date and I said no.  They said they would send package with my free gifts.

They called today, and asked for my husband.  When asked who was calling, he said his name was "Alex from Visa."  When told he wasn't here, they hung up on me.
