I've been receiving these calls several times a week now. Like everyone else, I'm on Rogers Pay-as-You-Go and refuse to waste my minutes on these b*stards. I simply save the number with the name "IGNORE" and kill the ringer when I see this call come through. I'll try the other fellow's suggestion about calling to get my number off their list.

Call 18005759090 if you are pay as you go and get them to put a note on your file that you do not wish to be contacted. I verified that Teleperformance is the company hired on Rogers behalf.

Few calls a day to my Rogers cell phone
When called back, sound like an old woman answered with a language I do not understand.

I have gotten four calls from these people in the last week or so: 1:15 PM on September 24, 3:25 PM on September 26, 11:04 AM on September 28 and six minutes ago (8:17 PM on October 2). I am a fledgling musician who got my phone for business purposes (networking with other musicians, booking gigs, and so forth). I have had my number for over a decade now, and it's only NOW that this telemarketer, or whatever BS they choose to call themselves, is starting to call me.
It's utterly disgusting, not to mention bordering on harassment. I am on a Rogers Pay-As-You-Go plan and have lost prepaid airtime to these clowns. Economically, given that my phone usage has increased in the last few months along with my musical activities, it's bad enough that I haven't had time to investigate cheaper plans on my own (I'm on the 40¢-per-minute plan). But for these guys to call me four times in a little over a week is inexcusable. Why can't they get it in their head by now that since I've never returned their calls, let alone answered them when they DID call, that means I don't want what they're offering?
If Rogers wants to contact me, they can do so themselves, not go through some third-party nobody who knows me even less than Rogers does. My "relationship" is with Rogers, not some third-party lackey.

I can't believe Rogers has been calling me for unwanted telemarketing purposes; it's obviously a ploy to make money from people by using up their airtime (in my case, charging me $.25/call every day they've called as I'm on a pay-as-you-go plan). Daytime robbery from Rogers: shame on you!

They're calling me too. So I blocked them.

I reject all these calls and they go right to voicemail. The next time they call, it goes to voicemail without even ringing. I'm leaving rogers next month, partly due to this reason.

I just got a call and immediately ignored it as I assumed it was spam.
Upon reading the posts on here, I called it back and it prompts you to remove your number from their call list, I did so. Let's see if they continue to call me...

I'm from Newfoundland and I've been receiving these calls on my cell for a week. Never answer, thanks to this website! I recently had to cancel my Rogers services because I'm moving somewhere where Rogers isn't offered....so I'm guessing that's why they're calling me between 3-5pm every day. Removed my cell number from the MyRogers stuff (like people have been suggesting) AND registered it (again) with the Canadian anti-telemarketer registry thing. Worsttttt

I was called 5 times last week from this number. I didn't answer the phone.

This number called me over 12 times. when I answered it at 5 AM it was playing gangnam style...

As a follow-up to my previous post... I just received another call from that same number. I guess they didn't actually take my number off their calling list. Or maybe it hasn't been updated yet. Grrrr.

I've been getting calls from this number about once per day for the last week or so. Have never picked up and I'm glad I found this site. I am also a longtime Rogers cellular customer and don't subscribe to any of their marketing so I'm annoyed (and surprised, though not all that surprised) that I am suddenly on their calling list. I'm wondering if it's because my contract is up for renewal in a few months? I've received and email and a mail package advising me of potential upgrades.. maybe this call is just the phoning component.
I called the number back from a landline and as others have said, there is an English and French message saying that you were recently called about a Rogers product, and there is the option to input your number to be removed from their list. I did it so I will see if it works...

Incoming call from 1-866-435-7960, hanging up all the time before i can answer the call.
| Sara 2013-02-14 19:43:01 Unknown |
They've been calling my cell phone everyday at about the same time for the last week! I refuse to answer every time. It's starting to get extremely annoying.

The utility Call Valet permits the blocking of 200
numbers, including all numbers from any area code - like
all 866 numbers. A bit pricey, but worth it for me.

On your cell phone, create a new contact and call it "Junk Call". Hopefully your contact software allows the option to "send calls directly to voicemail" when creating it. That's what I do, and every time I get a call from an unknown number outside my calling area, I don't answer it, then google the number (almost always it's a telemarketer). So I add the number to my "Junk Call" contact. I still get calls from them but my phone never rings and they don't bother me. My Junk Call contact now has over 80 numbers! On my home phone I do the same thing with the Call Block option.
NEVER buy a new phone (cell or home) unless it gives you the option to block calls.

Called at 6:30pm in Belle River, ON, but I never pick up. Been getting the call once a day, daily for the past week. I called back and they automated service asked if I wanted to remove a number from the call list. I completed the removal process and will see if it works. I am also on the DNC list.

lousy tactic by rogers to sell services...i bet it entices more customers to leave
not a happy rogers customer...next time on sale maybe ill change to virgin or koodo

I call back from home line (not cell) and there's a registerede message (in french or in english) asking if i want to remove my phone number from their calling list. Which I did. Hope I won't get called again.

They call me about 6 times a day. They never get answerred. At least it is not as bad as Sears Financial.
They used to call once an hour 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. And when I did answer, guess what?
They took 30 seconds to respond with a pre-recorded message. Screw them all.
