Just got a text message from 862-210-9564 saying I'm selected for a $1,000 Target gift card.  Looks like they've upped the ante.  Definitely a scam and I hope they are found out.

Got a text from 347-534-5125 about a $50 Target card and to call 866-445-2808.  Solicitations via text.  Ugh!!

I called the number back on my internet phone number. They same they are a wholesale magazine club and dollar savings club. They want your name, address etc. They said they wanted my name to "address me properly" yeah right, I'm going to give them that. Just remember - do not say anything that sounds like "yes" so no "okay, that's right, or uh uh"

I got a text message from this number telling me I had been preselected for a Target gift card. I do not take solicitations via text, I replied with STOP and never got a response back.

I just got a text message saying I was preselected for $100 Target gift card and asking to call 866-445-2808. The sender's phone number was 330-285-8730, seemingly someone's private cell phone number. I'm posting this comment so that no one will fall for this type of scam.

I just got a text also saying, "You have been preselected to receive a $100 Target Gift Card! Please call 866-445-2808 to claim. To end msgs reply stop." The sender's phone number was 980-253-8552. Not sure how they got my number, but grateful to read these posts and not fall for this.

I got the same text from 740-602-0844. I've never been to Target nor shopped online. I don't know how they got my number. It has to be a sam.

I got the same message for a Target gift card via SMS.  The originating number is:

317-260-6007

Isn't there an authority we can report this to?  If not, someone should hack into the account of whoever is responsible.
