Caller ID said it was a "Toll Free Number." I decided to roll the dice and answer it. After the computer dialed pause, a woman with a gravelly voice came on the line saying that she was with the Police K-9 Association. I told her I wasn't giving out money and hung up.

The call said, "tell your wife is comin, tell your wife its comin". It was said like it was to someone else.

I  can  tell you This , NO  police  union or NO  Professional  firefighters  Group  is hired  to  "fUND  Raise for they're  organizations without  placing an add in the local  newspaper.. I live in the state and stage  door  productions  found  it was easier to scam  you or your  MOM or Grand ma  outta  money (Hence  is  SHE  there?)  we  all ready  screwed her  before, we want  some more.. Make  sure  youtell em   to  cease  the scam,.. I was  20+ years  in  emergency  services and  got  nothing  when i left..  yet these aholes scam  all day long  F them F  stage  door

We are on the Do Not Call list but this number calls and gets one ring in before they're  blocked.  It often early am and late pm!!! Very annoying!

Called our home 6:06 PM on 8/11/2010. Man asked for donation for his organization that trains K-9 dogs that are presented to local police departments in Buffalo, NY area. When I started to get skeptical he said they urgently need funds to pay for bullet proof vests that they outfit the K-9 dogs with. I said I am not interested and hung up.

This number calls my house all hours of the day even on sunday mornings early and lat at night.  I do not pick up ID's that are not provided.  Sometimes it says not provided and sometimes it says Stage Door Music Productions. One day my husband answered it and they were asking for donations for the Police.  He said no and hung up, but they keep calling.

KEEPS CALLING LEAVES NO MESSAGES , CALLS ALL DIFFERENT TIMES OF DAY, WE REFUSE TO ANSWER ANY CALLS WITH OUT IDENTIFICATION...MESSAG MACHINE WILL CONTINUE TO RECORD THE PHONE NUMBRS...WE MIND OUR OWN BUSINESS WHY CAN'T THEY DO THE SAME....

Received calls from this same number (866-463-1792) at all hours of the day. When I finally answered, a woman ("Lisa") told me she was calling on behalf of the New York State police association looking for donations. She told me I had donated money to them last year, but I did not. When I pressed the woman on this issue, she hung up.

I got a call from this number tonight, asking for Mike, when I told him that Mike has passed away suddenly, he didn't missed a beat, he asked if he could count on my continued support.  These guys dont miss a beat do they?  I called the number on our caller ID and talked to a very aggravated elderly man who says this company's calls get diverted to his phone and he's had it with people yelling at him.

This number calls all day from early morning until 9:30 or so in the evening. It's VERY annoying and I'm on the No Call list. Out of curiosity I answerd once but no one was on the line which makes me think it might be an automatic dialer that logs what time you answer the phone so telemarkers can call at that time. All I know is I'm really fed up and am calling Verizon tomorrow to se if it can be blocked.

This, without a doubt, is Stage Door Music Company.  I confirmed this by telling telling them to send me the information for donation, then on the back of the donation, I saw that it was indeed the above said company ... and that it is not a tax-deduct eligible donation.

i just got a call from them, They asked for my mom, and I asked if I could ask who was calling, and they said It was the New York Police Enforcement, and I then asked if I could take a message, and they said that they'd just call back at a later date.

Stage Door music productions continue to call. Since I have caller ID, I do not pick up the phone.  I get at least 2 - 3 calls a day from other telemarketers. If its for police or firemen I have already made contributions. I can no longer afford to do this. I am very skeptical as to who is calling and I don't want any spheel.

These people call several times a day and have been for about 2 months.  I don't answer 866 calls because they are always solicitors.  Isn't there any way to block these calls on my home phone??

I DO NOT ANSWER 800 NUMBERS SO IT IS ON MY CALLER id AND I GET THEM VERY OFTEN AND WOULD LIKE IT TO STOP.

But it seemed like they were talking to someone next to him, not to us.

I got several calls to my cell phone...... then today I received a call from the Oneida County Sheriffs department - they say they are printing a book. The book is being printed in Connecticut. This is for something local, and the money is going out of state. Where is the sense of it all. Might just as well be printed in India.  

God Bless America - we need to keep these things local. They want our money to support another printer in another state.

They are a company called "Stage Door Music Productions" based in Connecticut. An odd name for a company that solicits contributions for police and fire organizations. Of course, they pocket over 80% of monies received.

I got a call from this number but no message. I assumed it was an automated telemarketer and the other comments seem to confirm same.

Got a call today who ask specifically for my mother by her first name.  I asked him who was calling and he said it was "Alex".  When I asked him what it was in reference to, he said "It's just a courtesy call, is she there?"  When I told him she was not available, he hung up.
