I do not answer numbers I do not recognize.  They called me and left no messages.  I put them on a call forward list to the FCC.  I can put 30 numbers on this list and forward them anywhere I wish as a group or individual number.  It sure has cut down on this type of phone call.  I may change the number to the FBI.

I continue to get calls without message from this number. I called back finally and it's Allied Interstate. I advised I have no affiliation to them and they need to remove my "work" number from their system. She asked me if I knew a Jennifer Gardner. Advised i did not know this person. Even if I did I wouldn't tell them anyways.

Have 76 calls from this 866 number in the past month.   Enough is enough already.  When is it considered harassment?  Why can't they be shut down?

I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry. We'll see if anything happens.

Am on the Do Not Call list so I answered the call to see if I could get info on the caller.  All I got was 10 seconds of silence at which point I hung up.  As I'm debt-free I can't imagine why a collection agency would be calling ...

These people call every morning at 8:00 and never indentify who is calling----there are so many scams so if you can not tell me who is calling I won'tt answer,there is. no. Charles here.

866-466-4482 calls me regularly, every morning of the week, between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. They never leave a message. It's annoying, especially since my number has been on the Do Not Call Registry for years.

Ignore. It's kinda like the Nigerian thing. My number drops to a personal answering machine, so it's just another internet nuisance.

These people call every day and leave no message. Today I caught a partial message on my machine. 'Hello, this call is recorded for Dr. Andrew" in an Indian voice. The call was very statically and it sounded as if he were in a room full of people on phones. Quit calling me, I have no business with you.

Today I received another call from them AFTER I BLOCKED them out they called from: 11-866-466-4482 not sure what this exchange is but have double blocked them now..lame..

The only thing to do is block the number and never answer any calls that come through from 888 or 866, let them leave a message.  These people are scavengers, almost caused a co-worker of mine to commit suicide over a debt she did not owe.  I stepped in to help her out and now they harrass me at work regularly.  We reported them to the police and spoke with ATT, apparently ATT gets millions of complaints about these people (20+million) but can do nothing because the are located outside of the US and have equipment where they piggy back on numbers that are not in use.  One of the calls we recieved looked like it was coming from a medical center down the street from us, but it was the scavengers.

This number is associated with Allied Interstate, a debt collector that has been in trouble before ($1 million FTC fine) for repeatedly calling and harassing people who don't really owe them money.

Daily calls from 8664664482.  I don't know who they are as I am not answering the phone.  We owe NO outstanding debts and are in excellent credit ratings.  Wish they would stop!

These morons are from "Allied" something or another.  Kept asking for me by name; but I refused to acknowledge it was me.  Finally, I played their game to see what it was about.  A (DISPUTED) debt from 2006 - that's SEVEN YEARS old.  I was sued by two other sewer rats who "bought" the debt; and BOTH of them LOST.
In THIS case, I advised the caller of that, AND that the (PA) Statute of Limitations is FIVE years; AND that it was also a VIOLATION of the Consumer Protection Act (PA and Federal) to call anyone AT THEIR PLACE OF WORK.
The scum stated, "Okay, I will make not dat you refuse to pay this legitimate debt."  Such IDIOTS ... going to court with them would be FUN as I could then get it into the record they called my place of employment, along with the statute of limitations issue.  ROFLMAO
