This number IS INDEED from the National Rifle Association. NOT from the National Recovery Association!
I called the number back and got the automated message that states that it is the National Rifle Association, not the National Recovery Association.

We kept getting calls from National Recovery Association not to be confused with National Rifle Association. These people try to swindle people out of their money on non existent loans. Scammers!!
Anyway, we bought a Panasonic 6.0 plus telephone with call blocking and this has been the BEST $89.00 we have ever spent. Once you program the number in, then when the spammer calls back it will ring once and bam! It is blocked. Woo Hoo! We love it! I am just sorry we didn't get this phone months and months ago.

I called it back and they answered as The National Rifle Association. They said they would add my number to their do not call list. We will see.

If you call that number back you will find out that it is indeed the National Rifle Association and not a debt collector because I just did.

The NRA is this case is the National Recovery Agency, not the National Rifle Association. the National Recovery Agency is a debt collection agency, I do not own any money to anyone though, sometimes they're looking for someone with the same or similar name.
