I am 16 years old. They keep calling my iPod touch's textfree number! Every single day. Maybe they take a break here and there. Because of this I have turned off the ringer but they leave voicemails everyday. In some messages, they ask for a "Robert". I'm a female. I don't know what to do. I know this debt has nothing to do with me (Despite the fact that I do have a credit card that I have used just one time in my life and my mother paid it off.) or my family (my family pays everything off ASAP) but I really want them to stop calling. Although, I am very relieved that this is not happening with my real cell phone or my house phone.
Is there anything I should say next time they cal to get them to stop?

They call me multiple times every day leaving the same message, I wish I knew how to block them. "This is NCO Financial Systems, a debt collection company, we collect debts and any information obtained will be use for that purpose, we are NCO Financial Systems, a debt collection company." That is the message they leave.

NCO Financial called my cell phone and left a message to call back regarding a case file number. Well, I called back. The NCO person was very angry and rude. The rudest phone encounter I've had for at least ten years. NCO did say they wanted to talk with some person who I don't know, not me.
They are at best, very unprofessional.

These people started calling me nonstop at all hours. Very unprofessional

The company is border-line legal, by bying off write-offs/uncollectible debt at deep discounts and then using scare-off credit distruction strategies to intimidate people owning sometime VERY questiobale debt from yeard before!!!! The people are VERY rude and unporfessional, causing only negative emotions... I will be reporting them to a Consumer Affairs, and would recommend anyone receiving a call from them NOT to dicsuss anything, but take a name of a person and information about the debt, and immidiately contact appropriate authorities... ex. Mgr. Alex and his subordinate Ashley is about to recieve some suprise calls about their unprofessional handling of interstate converstaion...

Company identifying itself as NCO Financial keeps calling me about nonexistent debts. They have already been sued and brought up on charges for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, but it appears not to have done any good. Don't divulge any information to them, try to find out what specific debt they are calling about, and then get a fax number so you can send them documentation that your debt is paid off. If they refuse, get a name of who you're talking to, and record the time and date of the phone call. Then call a lawyer, because there are statutory penalties they will have to pay you for violating the FCRA. Good luck, and don't take crap from these bottom-feeders.

These idiots called me on Thanksgiving morning 2008. Must be outsourced oversees calling? Who calls to harrass you on a major holiday?

Geez, they called me Thanksgiving morning too.. this morning actually, at 8 o clock and woke me up. The funny thing is I just got this phone number 4 days ago, and now I already got random numbers calling it. Wonderful.
