I received a call last night from Sharon. Said she saw my resume and go to the website jobproapp.com. Being somewhat leary of unsolicited jobs, I decided to check out before checking it out  the  website and was directed to this site. I am glad. I was unsure of the call because she said she had an Administrative Assistant position and I'm not one.
Shame on these people for praying on people who are trying to get legitimate honest jobs.  I think the lesson is if it doesn't feel right in your gut, trust your gut. Maybe if enough of us reported this scam to job boards we can get rid of this bunch.

I received a call from Sharon this morning with the message to go to the website of jobproatt.com. But when I keyed in the e-mail it connected me to this site, which I am glad because I was looking to fill out an application.  All I need at this time is a SCAM, so thanks for the info.

Got a call from 1-800-737-2319, a lady name Karen left a message. My husband calls me at home and tells me to go to jobproapp.com to fill out an appilcation for a job.

Eager to get a job I did and realized it was a scam. All they want is little information to sell to scamers. I should have known, if I would have seen the phone number first. I do not want to work out of my area. What local company uses their 1-800 (if they have one) to ask potentional job seekers to fill out an application.

BEAWARE!!!! Do not get suckered!!!

SCAM ALERT!! SCAM ALERT!! jobproapp.com is a telemarketing company that works for ONLINE DEGREE & EDUCATION providers. Notice that a MAJOR PORTION of their app questions are about your EDUCATION!!!  Do not fill this out and do not give them your cell & phone numbers. It's not a bonafide job opportunity. It's an information gathering service. I'll be reporting them to monster.com TODAY, and so should you!

Didn't get a missed call number (since my phone didn't have reception at the time) but got a voice message from SHARON, whom someone else mentioned earlier. Half of her message was cut off (I guess that's proof that it was a recording). Very suspicious looking website with very random positions listed. The positions didn't even list job duties or requirements, which are almost ALWAYS listed with posted positions (who would want just any Joe Schmoe to apply, right?). Thanks to you guys for your warning. :)

Got the same call but from a different number on 12/28/07. Didn't know it was a scam until I found this message board. It's crazy. I was lucky enough that I couldn't understand the web site "Sharon" was stating and googled what I thought she was saying.
When I did look at this site, it looks real to the naive eye. Beware!!!

1 866-484-4396 phone number: Left message with same info. says she saw my resume on line and thought I was qualified for the position and if I was still looking go to jobproapp.com and fill out the application.  I wondered what job since she did not mention a job title or company, I was hesitant to begin with.  Thankfully while trying to go to that site I was led to this one.

Thought it was my signal when listening to the phone message from Sharon.  Couldn't quite catch what she was saying, but the message repeated itself.  Said my qualifications fit the job.  If interested, go to their webside.  It was odd--there was no mention of which job I was qualified.  In order to apply I had to complete everything on their website.  Thankgoodness I did not finish the application process and checked this site before pursuing it any further.  I am pleased to see my gut feeling told me that there was something wrong.

Left message to go to jobproapp.com.  A person name Sharon left the message.  This is rediculous, I am currently unemployed and don't think this is funny.  I put in bogus info to see where it would lead.  It looks like they want you to sign up with colleges, want to know if you have student loans etc.  I agree with the rest of you, this should not be allowed.  We get enough people calling without having to tolerate people calling for other companies.

Well, I got the same phone call. She didn't give the name of the company nor location. I searched for the website and found this one. But I went to the website after looking over this one to look over, but I didn't fill out my personnal information. Thank God for this website. Another thing, about them calling from different numbers. The number I got was 1866 890 2808. They could be doing this right from the internet. I got news for them GOD don't like ugly and what goes around comes around. But I will check into it though.

I did not get a call but got an email from Networked careers.com about a position as a merchandiser with Ann Taylor. When I looked up avg. salaries for merch. I was elated. Then i went ot the site, which has not information on what the hell Networked careers is and why Ann Taylor didn't just contact me themselves. and then I read a few of their application requirements to fill out(cell provider WTF?) and thought I'd research what networkedcareers.com really was and it brought me here. Thanks for this site and others like Ripoff report (Dynamic marketing concepts,Confidential, Wentworth marketing), I won't be scammed. I am glad I did not fill out my info and haven't called any of these bogus jobs back. Steph is right, this really sucks for a recent grad who IS really looking for a job to have to go through this BS.

I almost forgot...I guess they realize people are onto them.  So when I rec'd the call from  1 866-890-2808 I was told to go to careeradmin.com.  There is a site for this web address.....I don't know what to think.  Then later today I was told to go to jobproapp.com.

Thank you everybody...I was so close to giving my info until I came across this very interesting page.  I just rec'd a text from a number that I erased (sorry but I erased it as soon as I read the feedback above).  The directions from "Sharon"--I needed to log on to the website to confirm my contact info and then answer a few ?'s.  Last night I rec'd a call from 1 866-890-2808.  Actually, I had left my phone in another room, therefore missing the call.  When I called back, I was told my resume was picked.....pretty much the same scenario.  Though I thought it odd not to be able to make direct contact, I was hoping it was the real deal; obviously, I am looking for employment.
