It is Ann Taylor or Ann Taylor Loft. World Financial Bank is where the store credit cards are from. This is a collection call from them. The best thing that you can do is go into an Ann Taylor or Loft store with picture I.D. and have them call the credit card company to make sure that there is not a card under your name or social security number. A card can be opened through any store if someone has your information. I would check on this ASAP.

Go girl! On behalf of everyone, we thank you.

That fancy-accented lady left a message for me yesterday. Usually the number just calls and they do not leave a message. I receive many calls EACH day, and it is such an intrusion.

got a message from an unavailable number stating there I needed to call back 866-490-5892. At first, they were asking me for my 16 digits number which I didn't have. So I finally entered 16 "0" and "0" as my last 4 digit SS#. I finally got through an operator. Now, she stated that my account was linked with someone named Ann XXXX (I had no clue what she was talking about). Then I said I have no account with them. Then she asked me for my last 4 digit of SS#. I refused to give it to her. She asked me for my address. I gave it to her. Then he hung up on me. I am suspecting this is a scam

Pretty sure this is a scam, so don't give any information to them. If it was legit, it would be an actual person or a recording with options to transfer to an operator. What I want to know is how I can get them to stop calling my number.

Since my bank account had issued me a new card this week because of suspected fradulent activity, I figured it had to do with that and called it. They asked for my account number and when I gave it, it said invalid, so I got worried and hung up. I called my bank and they said the phone call was not from them so it must be a scam to get you to enter your account numbers and social.

I got the recorded message, unfortunately I did not get the name of the company, just the number. Like others, I called, and had no idea what the 16 digit account number was. i assumed eventually an live person would answer, but nope! I assume it is a scam of some sort.

It was an automated lady saying it wasn't a sales call and that I should call the number. Didn't give a reason or identify who they were calling for.

world Financial Network National Bank is a credit card provider. they do credit cards for Victoria Secret, Ann Taylor, the loft and several others. I got this call and called back. they asked for 16 digit number. My wife has a VS card but I do not have the number. Not sure why they are calling this bill is paid at the time of use.

this is really helpful - also received this message on March 28th and chose not to call back.

I have an Ann Taylor Credit Card, which is through this. I got a call from this number but did not call it back. I called Ann Taylor and it turns out some mail was returned to them. So, for me it was legitimate. But I called Ann Taylor directly, as opposed to this one. Just didn't want to take the chance.

SCAM!!!! I looked at miss b's comment and decided to call Ann Taylor. Turns out this number is NOT associated with the bank that holds Ann Taylor cards. Big ol' SCAMMERS! Scammin' idiots messed with the wrong girl!
I have a bunch of time on my hands and will follow through with this on several levels. Beware scammers!!!
