Almost CERTAIN to be an Indian accent.  Callers from Mumbai.  Either telling you that you owe money, or your computer has a virus, or some other total crap.  Hang up on them, and nothing bad will happen.  Or play dumb, keep them on the phone for an hour, and let them be the ones scammed.  They cannot hurt you from across the world.

Got a call saying that the messsage was for a XXXXXX XXXXX (My correct name.) and that by listening to the message that I was indeed confirming that I was this person and the message to follow contained personal information. This person (A female with perhaps an Indian accent) went on to say that she was from Wakeland & Associates (I think that's what she said--she was hard to understand!) and was a debt collector and that the information she would obtain from me was for purposes of debt repayment and I  should call her back at 866-491-4289 EXT # 1329. ----- The ironic thing is that I am very lucky in that I have ZERO debt and perfect credit!!!!  This is obviously som kind of scam!!! VERY annoying especially since I'm registered on the "Do not call list." Needless to say I did not call her back!!!!!

Well, regardless if it an automated message or not. constant calls with in those short periods are outside the limits of what debt collectors are allowed to do. If you can get a name, provide proof of each call being made like that. Then you can recieve damage compensation of up to $1000. I would recommend contacting your local attorney to get more information on the matter

Called me three times in a row in the span of 5 minutes. Second time I called back, (first time, I couldn't hear anyone) I was put on hold twice before they finally asked to speak with me by name, but they wouldn't tell me anything other than it was a personal business matter until I identified who I was. Probably debt collectors.

I get calls from this number at least 4 times per day. Today was they first time they said anything and all they said was the name Kristina.I have no idea who this is or who they are looking for. Is there any way to stop this?

Kept getting calls from this number.  Some freaking Habib with English so broken is hard to understand.  Has claimed to be several companies... like the SNL LandShark skit.... keeps giving different company name.  Though he's never claimed to be a candygram.  

Never comes to the point so don't know what he wants, even if I COULD understand his mush-mouthed twaddle.  Finally got tired of the bullsh*t and put on auto-reject.  Suggest you do the same.

They don't call very often. They never leave a message. When I do answer, there is no one manning the phone. Leads me to believe its a computer calling me. Probably is a debt collector. They're just not bright enough to actually talk to the people that they call. They just want to harass. Stupid people. Whatareyagonnado? Too bad it's illegal to shoot them.

Call back number on my answering machine asking my 3 YEAR OLD to return the call.  They asked for him!?!?!?!?  Scam, no doubt.

They call 5 times a day and if you don't answer they call back 10 minutes later!

I have the call as an MP3 on my computer, wonder where I could send it to...hmmm...

They claim to be a debt collector, calling for someone who has never even worked here.
