It is a robo-dailer.  It left a very long message on my answering machine.  It was a recorded message saying to hold for a business matter and then it used up my tape playing music.  Very unprofessional.  

I have not been to a Centura facility in years.  If it is them, they had the wrong number.  

I have never even heard of the company and they are calling me.  Any explanations for this?

Seriously these people are scumbags they are centura heslth who hsve the worst if the worst billing practices. They at times will wait Dix months to send a bill then immediately send it to collections. As far as this number I hsve answered and talked to these people . They call out of the blue and start asking absurd personal identifying questions which you should never give to a cold caller like this. I hsve even taken payments into their office just to be told they had no record of my owing. What a joke these folks are. I'm very seriously considering changing my medical provider based on these practices. Don't get me wrong they provide ok medicsl services but their business practices are verging on criminal.

The owner of this company should charged with harrasment. I receive 2 or more calls a day from this number. Who can be called to see that this person can be arrested?

I received a phone call from this number today on my cell phone. I was unable to answer, so I let my voice mail pick it up. It was a recorded message that said "I'm calling about an important personal business, please call me back as soon as possible at the following number; 866-492-4704."

Does anyone know what/who this is, if it could be a solicitor?

This is Centura Health billing service - legitimate but annoying and persistent checking to make sure a bill has been received - not a telemarketer.

Actually they absolutely do have to state who they are and where they are calling from if it is a collections call.  That is the law and has nothing to do with HIPPA.  The law regarding collections is very clear.  If they, meaning both the medical practice as well as the individual,refuse to provide who they are or where they are calling from or they lie they can both be sued.
HIPPA does cover privacy relating to payment information but only from discussing matters of payment with an individual or entity who is not the responsible party.

Seriously dude.... responsible human being? These callers are the lowest of all life forms. They will stop at nothing to get money or destroy you. If people are not paying their bill then 1 its not their bill or 2 they can't pay it. You are probably one of those who make your money by scamming others into paying you?

Received a phone call from this number. No message left.

I get calls about once a week from this number and a message (since I don't answer unidentified call) to return their call to discuss a 'business matter'.  No idea what business they have but if they can't give me more details then their crappy auto message then I won't call them back.

It's Centura Health being lazy.  They call sometimes just to see if you got their bill.  This is a horrible practice and their recording should identify themselves.  Maybe they just bought the system and didn't change the default recording.  I didn't give them any info except a billing address, but it's legit.

If you have a bill from them, the recording will probably stop after you pay it.

I'm thinking about calling them back with a recording that says, "I have information about your important business matter.  Please have a real person call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx."

And if you have not called them back then i am sure your medical bill has made it to collections at this point.  You can probably watch your credit score take a dive in the toilet!  All you have to do is call them back like a responsible person and have them locate your account which you incurred at a doctors office or hospital.  Pay your bill like a responsible human being and the won't call you.  They are merely abiding by HIPPA regulations as they can not state they are calling from or regarding anything medically related and yes that is one of those stupid laws that is there to PROTECT YOU and i.
