Got the same call from some guy named Phil Carr. Very rude, said my husband had 2 days to call back or they would pursue legal action for a $600.00 debt.

Will she left me a message saying I should call her back about a debt I have with this company but myself I will not pay this company 0

I had a capital one car loan through carmax for a whole day until my bank took over yet i've been getting this call daily now. It must be some automated system but its very fishy since it doesnt ever leave a message. most systems these days leave recordings. When I've called the number it says capital one credit cards.

I got a charge on my COMPANY credit card for 9.75 and yes, it's just a recording that says to leave a message.  I'm glad I googled the number and found out it's a big scam.  How do they get by with this and how on earth are they getting so many people's credit card numbers? All is says is CVM and nothing else.

Sorry, make that CFM, not CVM.

Dear "Not a credit risk"; Sometimes things are not as black and white as you seem to think they are. There are often circumstances which arise and are not planned, such as an illness in the family or loss of employment. Please don't pretend to suggest that your poop doesn't stink, as I'm sure it does. Sometimes good people have bad luck and/or make bad decisions but they are still good people. The view from your high horse must prevent you from being able to see this.

The next day I'm calling number that was left in the voice mail message and I get a message that it is no longer a working number.

I have been getting this number on my cell phone and also on my home number as well and I do not answer it. Beware they will continue to call everyday.

Here's a piece of this puzzle.  I had the same thing, same amount ($9.75 from CFM) happen to me.  But, it happened after using a card that I rarely use, so it wasn't hard to come up with a suspect.  I contacted my bank, and with out me saying anything about my suspicion, they told me that the company that I made the legitimate purchase through, had this same odd code attached to the charge.  I contacted the company that I made the purchase with and told them about this, and oddly enough, that same day, $9.75 was credited to my account.  So, have any of you done business with Compubizusa.com?

It appears that some sort of machine has been set up to call my cell phone number at random intervals several times a day. They keep calling multiple times a day and when I answer there is no one on the other end. I called this number back and no one answered. This sort of thing should be illegal! It's amazing how with all the technology that is available we do not have a simple option of blocking calls from unwanted telephone numbers from disrupting our lives.

Said I had debt that needed to be settled. Asked to call back.

My parents had the same fraudulent $9.75 charge from CFM in Massachusetts on their credit card.  Thank God I researched the number and found this site with so many others who had been scammed.  We have cancelled the account number and have been reimbursed for the loss.  So many people don't pay attention to their transactions.  Think about this... if that company did this to 1 million people, that's over 9 million dollars... SCARY WORLD we live in...

They left two messages on my home phone yesterday stating that they are calling to collect a debt. I have no delinquent debts and want to block this caller

Charge showed up on the credit card as well. Credit card company states that it is a book store.  Disputed without any trouble. Told them about this blog,but they weren't all that interested in it.  Asked them to forward on at least to their fraud department that this is a fraudulent company.

This 9.75 charge appeared on my Visa.  Thank God for Google!  I have filed a dispute with Visa and had the account number cancelled...

Do they have the ability to garnish wages? Can they really contact HR and collect payment from them? I have paid them in full, but they are still calling me. Could someone please let me know. Thanks.

My bank account has a charge of $9.75 from this company and I did not make this charge.  It only states "withdrawal CFM 866-492-7652 MA".  I called it and only got a message stating no one is available and leave a message.  It does not identify who they are.  I'm reporting this to my bank and hopefully they will reverse the charge.

Yes, I also received this $9.75 charge from CFM. I record all my receipts and purchases in QuickBooks and there is nothing that I purchased for this amount. I will bring it up with my bank as well.

Had the $9.75 charge from CFM8664927652MA. Never heard or delt with them before. Cancelled card.

I did not get a phone call but this # was listed on my statement. They also charged my card $9.75. Called B of A and they cancelled my card and will reissue a new one.

Same as Chad, on my Citi statement. Cancelling card and reporting as fraud.

I have a charge on my bank statement from this number as well. It is for 9.75. The bank says it is a bookstore. I have not done business with them. I am also disputing the charges and cancelling my card.

I received a charge as well.  Called the bank and they are telling me I have to wait to hear from this company before they will reverse this charge.  How extremely frustrating that these individuals can get away with something like this.

Dell keeps calling even after you have made your payment!

I just got my credit card statement and there was a charge of $9.75 from this company that I never made. The description next to the charge gives this phone number and CFM in MA (Massachusetts). I am disputing the charge.

This is Gold Key Credit - a collection company for medical bills. I also found that it's somehow connected to NCO Financial, a big collection agency .
