they asked ofr my social security and want to make sure it is legitimate

The same phone number claims to have information that I have computer share common stocks they can retrieve for me. The problem with this is they are using the name of my medical insurance provder to say I supposedly have the share with, this is a telemarketer and they are also trying to get peoples social security number, be careful I for one am possitive this is a rip off. There is no way I have shares in what they are saying.
