Caller ID said "toll free". No message. Area code 866 is not assigned to any geographical area.
Beware, check your phone bill. If you google "area code 866" and click on areacodehelp.com, it says the person who is called gets charged. So if your machine picks up......
I've heard of this scam before, but until now haven't gotten any calls from this a.c.

some guy by the name of Doug Dale called and talked about getting back into school and when i told them this is not the right time for me, he would not stop so i hung up on him. he then called back and left a message on my phone that he hopes i get with i deserve and hung up on me... what type of tellamarketers have the nerve to call you back and leave such a message for not buying what they are selling... i wish we had a better way to deal with these types of people
