I get a call from this number repeatedly and then no one speaks... just dead air and the a click... they hung up.

When I called 866-518-5344 the message says they are some communications company calling on behalf of Citi Financial. When I talked to the people, they said it was from an application I filled out at United Buy & Sell. They were trying to get me to increase my credit limit.

I have been getting calls from these jokers as well as a 519-667-9881. They both do the same thing, a moment of silence when I answer, then they hang up. It is City Financial or some affiliate, either way its ridiculous. I am going to pay these pricks off, then write to them to let them know how much i enjoy their service.

I got a call just today too... i didnt pick up because i didnt hear my cell going off in time, lucky i didnt tho... or i would be wasting my cell time

in regards to 519-667-9881 - i got calls continuously from them as well and i eventually called back adn was like DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN and i havent got a call since :)

they keep calling my (new) unlisted fax line...wife answered it and they said they wanted to speak to the person in charge on accounts. I've used Call Block from Bell to ignore these idiots.I'm in in Ontario, Canada.

Got this call yesterday, asking for my husband (whose name appears nowhere!). I asked who's calling, the dude says he's from Aliant calling on behalf of Citifinancial. I said we have accounts with neither, what do you want? He said it's a courtesy call. I told him not to bother calling back if he's tryng to sell us something. He said he'd call back another time as they weren't selling anything.I hung up.
