Oh, I just got off the phone with "Charles Meier"!  I had called because my identity theft protection had flagged three entries for the same account that this company had placed on my credit report.  Naturally, I called them to find out what account they were talking about.  I wasn't able to actually obtain any useful information because "Charles" kept talking over me to tell me that he "has me recorded saying I am refusing to work with" him. Very threatening and extremely creepy throughout the whole call.  Seriously, it concerns me that someone who sounds that unstable might have access to my personal information.   This is also why everyone, everywhere should have credit monitoring.

This is a legimate collection agency, but with individuals who are most likely paid on what they collect, imagine their stress.  Rudeness on my call was over came by asking to speak to his supervisor, which was anything but rude, and apologized for the way Charlies Meier talked and acted.  I worked out a plan to pay off a medical co-pay (don't get me going on those) and feel like it was resolved.  Remember, one rude person doesn't make a rude company, if you are not comfortable talking to them, ask to speak to a supervisor.

This collection company is calling on behalf of EEI SECURITY INC in Tampa. This company is Very unprofessional. I called EEI security and told them they have no business having their collection agent calling me as i owe nothing to anyone. EEI is as unprofessional as their collection agency. despite telling them to stop calling me, the continue to call and harrass me. I do not owe anyone anything.

It is illegal to call your work place

Same guy calls me and he is a debt collector.  When the receptionist answers he says, "hi, D?" like they're old friends and she might actually be me.  When she tries to put the call through to my voice mail he insists she's me--"this is D, right?".  She's at her wits end with the guy.  I am hardly ever around and have no desire to call this a***ole back, so I am going to write a letter and insist they stop calling my place of business and request they verify my debt in writing.  If you put your request for them to stop harassing you at work/via telephone, they have to abide by that.

NO CALLS

Received serveral voicemails from a Ron Martin. He does not identify the nature of the call, only gives his name and this number requesting that I call him back as soon as possible.

After doing some research it seems this is a collection agency of sorts, tho I owe no outstanding debts.

I also just recieved a phone call (on my personal business cell) from this number. They were looking for my brother who does not currently have a phone. All this "John Greene" said was it was regarding a personal matter and that I needed to let my brother know ASAP it was of the "ut most importance."

Got a call from a Gus Baker,

he was a crazy lunatic who wanted to do nothing but harass and drag me into the mud. yelling and acting like a fool. I ended the call after putting up with him telling me i own such and such and screaming at me after about 3 minutes.... I dont even owe any money. what a freak!!!  if these people call you tell them to F*** Off and hang up on them.

Ask for someone who is not at my address.  When ask who was calling, would not give name.  I said a few choice words (*##$%) and hung up.

Got a call from "mike" at this number, very rude man. Was looking for someone that does not live here.

I received a call from my grandfather today, saying that a "John Greene" had tried to reach me at my grandparents' house (where I no longer reside). This so-called "John Greene" did not leave a specific message as to why he was calling, other than to call him back at this number.

When we tried calling back later that night, nobody answered. We didn't bother to leave a message.

called and ask for someone that I did not know.   Hung up.

A man named Gus Baker called me at my place of employment and would not leave message regarding the nature of his call.

HA!  I told the guy that I do not accept 'unknown caller' calls and hung up.  Next time I will literaly blow the whistle on him (in his ear!)

I was called at my new place of employment by a man named Gus Baker.  I was given the message by other co workers.  

i could get fired over whatever this goof nut wants.  second i just filed Chapter 13 so they cannot call if it was a bill collector.  its just very embarassing.

SAME situation as other complaints - this guy is CRAZY hostile and threatening. Asks weird questions like am I on a phone that I forward calls to..eh? First time I've ever spoken to the guy and he obviously has an anger issue because he was screaming at the top of his lungs in the phone threatening me - said if I wouldn't voluntarily submit (submit what?) he knew how to make me involuntarily. again, eh? Can't get a word in to ask for details or speak at all...Finally had to hang up when the guy was screaming and threatening me - I apparently have 7 DAYS TO SUBMIT VOLUNTARILY! lol what a joke of a human being this guy is - I don't even know his name he was screaming so much  I couldn't ask for it...

these guys are do***e bags...they're a collection agency. basically what they do is jack up what you're accused of owing (interest, late fees, etc.) to get you to pay more so they can a higher commission.

they will give you bad information and put exaggerated figures on your credit report to try and drag your rating down. their specialty is to give you bad information, intimidate you...etc. nasty company.

The caller did not mention his name until late in the call:  Barry, said the company was called American Profit Recovery.  Was trying to confirm with a three second pause if my mom or dad were at the number they called (did that twice).  I let it go on the answering machine and did not answer it.  Sounds like a scam.
