got a phone call from 8665531745, and asked my personal information and one of my bank's account information. it does not sound right.

I got a call from this number. They left a message, telling me to call them regarding my debit card ending in the last four digits XXXX. When I called it was a automated person saying this was the automated activation system please enter your card # and pound sign. I did not enter anything. They repeated the message a few times and finally the system said they were going to connect me with a customer service rep. Conveniently the offices were closed . They said the banking division is open at 7:00 but are able to help on the Web 24X7. No web site offered or company name... What a scam. I hope no falls for this....

4/25/09. Received call from 866-553-1745 regarding my debit card ending in.....  Called # back and was told to enter my debit card. I didn't enter a # and was directed to a rep who had a "thick accent".  Told him I was going to report them.. THIS IS SUCH A SCAM. DONOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO THIS GROUP.

I just spoke with these folks, the young lady on the phone claimed she told me her name, then told me she was with Washington Mutual.  There is no more WAMU! It is now Chase.

I received a message from this number asking that I return the call.  The caller stated the call was regarding a debit card ending in XXXX.  I have no such card and when I return the card the office was closed.  I have never known a credit card company to be closed.  Sounds fishy to me.  I would beware and not give any information.
