You really dont have to pay these  people. but make sure to get  the internet payday  loans because they are harder to trace. this is easy money. the most disturbing  part is these dam bill collectors. Other than that yiou can pretty much get what ever you can get and never have to pay it back. just say it was not you and just say you already paid it.

I got a call from Morgan and Shapiro for the same thing a check from 2007 and threating me with jail and three felonies. My sister with a law firm office told me to tell them the stat of TX has a four yr statue limit where they can file this case and its been almost 6yrs. and to let them know I will be filing a claim with the TX dept of collection act and sending a letter to the attorney generals office due to there harrasement. I had to let them know this when they called and get there info so ofcourse they didnt want to talk to me anymore and wouldnt provide me the info I needed  and said Im now harrasing them. Funny they didnt expect to speak with someone who knew what they were doing is fraud.

Also, I could hear other people talking in the background like telemarketers or a call center  (go figure)

i have received a call from an investigator posing as an investigator as well. I knew i hadn't done anything so I said they could leave a message for the person and they begin to ask ME questions so I turned it around and asked them if they were looking for me or the damn person they were calling for. I took the message because I want to find out if the "Law Offices of Morgan & Shapiro" actually existed so I could report their @$$. 848-207-9197 is the number

I just got a call from these people for my brother in law who does not live in my house and they said the same thing that if he did not respond he would go to jail. The thing is that I had been getting calls like this from other places and I know that if I had done anything fraudulent then the county i live in would be after me. This is bulls**t and they need to stop doing this to people. There needs to be some kind of law against this.....asap

Okay so i forgot all bout my pay day loan. i had lost my job right after i got it...Then  one day thye called me and i got an ugly reminder.
i paid it off because i knew i really owed it.

i too got a call from these guys who say they are from morgan and shapiro law offices, but they called me from 702-418-1246. They almost sound convincing but their objective is clearly that of a collection agency. When they ask for the funds, they make it sound like they have to ask the state to stop process of prosecuting for felony fraud. As far as i know when you have such a case, you are summons by a DA of the county in question. Not by some investigator from some law firm and calls from out of area phone number or toll free number. Someone needs to really get these guys its got to be illegal what they are doing, its just like when collection agencies used to pose as cops or deputies threatening to arrest you unless you pay your debt. It was all over the news., Now they just got a little more creative.

says they are calling from morgan & shapiro law firm, about 2 complaints about bad cheques returned from my bank account. they said they know i live in arizona - haven't lived there since 1994 though! dunno of they are a scam company, or just trying to scare me. has anyone else had problems with these guys?
