Yes, Like Stacy r says, I think it has to do with GYD...I also signed up for information on scholarships for online masters program and all of a sudden I'm getting these freakin' calls.  I've called the FCC and the FTC.  Although I have an open case, now, with FTC, FCC gave me NO comment!  What is that all about?  Aren't THEY supposed to provide some sort of protection against this kind of thing?  Oh well.

3 calls; one today (tuesday) and one last tuesday. called at 9:50am, 12:52pm, and 11:20am. no messages

I just got this phone call today. called back & got a "this number is no longer in service" message.
I just applied for a scholarship on a site affiliated with getyourdegree.net, too.
that's what I get for going to the websites my dad sends me.

Got 2 calls today from that number, i said "hello" a few times, lady asked for somebody who is not me, then i asked who it was and she said sjfklsjkldfjk.net.... she just mumbled, then i said "who are you with?" and she hung up. i tried calling back and it says its not a working number.... probably a scam from Nigeria or something.... pisses me off they got my number

They called me like two weeks ago. I dont answer my cell unless I know the number, so i didnt answer. They called three times that day, and i hadnt heard from them until this morning, I still didnt answer. this is really annoying...I looked it up online after the first call and it said not to answer...so i didnt...probably a good decision.

they called me at 11:30-ish every day this week, i didnt answer them last few days. i finally pick up today, it is something about education~~ weird~~

I got the same call at least 3 times today. When I call it back it says it is not a working number. They never leave a message. Strange

This is getting crazy with me because I am deaf. They have been calling over and over and I just ignore it.  I am on the no call list too and it is not helping me none whatsoever.  If anyone figures this out please post it here.

ugh, they have been calling me at LEAST once a day, and same story, no sound just *click* after about 3 minutes.

This number has been calling me 2-3 times daily and leaves no message.

I received three phone calls from this phone number today and I was never near my phone when they called (8:45AM, 12PM, 3PM). It's going to get really annoying, really fast if it keeps up. I have only had my phone a short time, so I have barely given my number out.

Just got a call from this number on my cell.  I didn't answer becuz it was not a number I recognized.  They didn't leave a message, so I returned the call only to get the message that it was not a working number.  What's up with that?

Suggestion to not answer... every site I look on it comes down to that at some point in time you have applied for a scholarship or school information and they are contacting you regarding that... as a 3rd party, not to tell you that you get the scholarship. You can't call them back, they will call several times a day, and they rarely say anything when you answer (if they do, they are really rude.) Not even worth the time.

i've been getting calls from this number for a week now.  when i call back it says' this is not a working number'.  This morning they called twice and 8 am and 11 am.  I didn't answer and for the 1st time they left messages.  first, they said they were from South University.  then they changed and said they were from Kaplan University.  They are college recruiting SCAMMERS!

They have called me 4 times today within a 3 hour period and no message. It is getting really annoying.  I don’t want to pick up in case it is one of those charge scams.

STOP PUTTING YOUR INFO ONLINE AND U WONT GET CALLS JUST THAT SIMPLE!!!!!!!

I get the same calls... I'm pretty sure its a debt collection agency. I have a false debt on my record and they won't stop bugging me to pay it. I've told them a number of times they have the wrong person but they still won't stop pestering me. I just ignore it.

Called cell before 9am, assume it's the same robo-callers as other numbers.

calls at least once a day, asks for a name that is not at this number, have told repeatedly to stop calling, but they still persist.

It's interesting these are all in the last few days. This number has been calling me every few hours for days. Nobody answers, the line is just silent. Has anybody tried calling them back?

I think it is interesting too that these calls have began for almost everyone here and on another post I read only in the past few days. That is when I began getting calls from this number - around the 9th of Jan.  Also, I keep reading that no one has been able to talk to anyone when they do answer...always silence.

i get these all the time too.they finally say something after you say hello 5 times.it's somebody that says you signed up to receive info on getting your degree for some university or something.he had my e-mail right but i never signed up for that.he won't stop calling.

It's not a debt collection agency.....this happenned to me last year at this time with a similar number......it's a phone scam.  I can't remember how I got them to stop.....but when i do I will post it here.
