I received a call from 866-587-1337 on 9/5 at 7:13pm with a robovoice saying my Suncoast Credit Union debit card was frozen. I do not have an account with this bank, but my husband does so I asked him if he'd given my phone number to them and he said no. This morning (Sat, 9/10) at 2:05am I received a call from 214-423-0615 that did not leave a message, so I looked it up here. I am on the national do not call registry which usually works very well and I do NOT give out my cell phone number, so I do not understand how these calls/scams are coming through. I'm glad I looked it up and no know what's going on.

Received a call on my cell phone from this number @ 12:07 AM! Awoken from a sound sleep, I
was alarmed thinking someone in my family must have a dire emergency to be calling in the
middle of the night. I have no debts with anyone so cannot imagine why they called. If I find out who this is.....

I also got a similar call just after midnight. Yesterday it was from (800) 859-1403. Both are SCAMS. They are not from Suncoast Credit.

Recorded call saying my Suntrust Schools Credit Union debit card was lost or stolen. I don't have any accounts with Suntrust...so I ended the call and added to my reject list. Huge Scam.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone at 9pm at night. Not many people have this number. When I called back it was busy.... looked on-line for reverse directory and reached this site.

Just happened to me. I didn't answer. They left a voicemail...It was a partial message something about a card. Obviously it is a SCAM.. It has been shown on the local news about these people SCAMMING and getting credit card numbers with pins

Robo-call message: "Your debit card has been suspended. To reactivate, please press '1' now to speak to our Security department".
No company name, no request to speak to (my name).
How bogus is that!

I received the same phone call, I didn't press anything I hung up.

Whenever I have an unlisted number in my phone, I don't answer it (If it's important or someone I know, they'll either text or leave a message) I got 2 voicemails from them saying similar things to everyone else's: Something about my Bank of America account having suspicious activity / comprimised account. Thing is, my Bank of America account is jointed with my mom's, so logically a call would go towards her.
Marcus 2011-08-13 03:08:41 Unknown
Why doesn't Bank of America go after this fraud?

I got a call last night at12:31am. It woke me out of a dead sleep. It said to press one,I just hung up. I am not sure what they all said, some thing about an account being closed. I also get E-mails saying that my B of A Bank account has been suspended. Please do some thing about this. Thanks

I got the same call that everyone else did, but in my sleepy haze, I pressed one and got a busy tone. My question: you don't think any damage could have been done by pressing one, do you?
shawn 2011-07-28 18:26:27 Unknown
I received a call on my cell phone with an automated message claiming to be Bank of America saying that my debit card had been locked and asking me to press 1 to speak with the fraud department. Why nobody take Wan action against these people? Where is our FCC?

I got the call too. I work at walmart and many people there got the call on there cell phone. I think someone at Walmark is selling our personnel records. The recording went something like this "We are sorry to inform you, but your Bank of America card has been blocked, to speak to a representative please press 1" ...Of course I'm not stupid, so I hung up. They called my cell # and none of my credit cards have my cell# so that immediately gave me a red flag.
AustinReba 2011-07-25 22:11:12 Unknown
Same thing happened to me. Said my Bank of America card had been blocked but I don't have a Bank of America card! This call felt like fraud.

I got a call from this number but I didn't answer it because I didn't know the number. I saved it to see who it might have been calling. They didn't leave a message

it also happened to me. Call stating that my debit card was blocked and click 1 to re-activate it, it then wanted the 16 numbers on the card so I hung up.
Chris 2011-07-20 15:54:30 Unknown
Same as this guy, but I pressed 1. This is strange. It then asked to press a number to deactivate or deactivate. I pressed the number to deactivate then it hung up.

Just received a call, a recorded announcement, from this number saying it's for the Wells Fargo card that I reported, and asked me to press "1". Well, I'm not a Wells Fargo customer so I hang up!
