Just got a call today from them, such bs, I laughed as I hung up the phone he is full of s**t

888-860-5733 Keeps calling my phone number from last October. I have never called them back. It is getting to the limit but I want to have the last word.
If they really want to communicate with me, let them send home some kind of letter where I can have black on white of what they want.

I have received an abundance of calls from this law firm and was actually trying to work with them, but they want everything up front and when we could not do it through a bank draft they wanted me to send a money gram and would not take a check or let me send it via mail.  They are in New York and I am in Texas they have no juridiction in Texas.  The number the Gomalski woman gave me to call her back was a 888-860-5733 and you are right she has a very gruff voice and comes off very rude.  I am puzzled and want to get to bottom of this problem and take of but not the way they want me too.

got them called fbi called local police . bank got my money back. they are not happy. they call today being nice . go to voicemail. wait for tommorow it will not be good . so please wtch out.

I received a call from Jason Evans of Evans Law Assoicates in regards to a credit card account that I had back in 2003. They claimed that I gave them a fake check and I have been spending money that I don't have. Who the hell do these people think they are?? They really need to be investigated and stopped, because they are going to make someone cuss them the hell out, and it might just be me if they call back!!

they called our house and said we needed to call them for an investigation against my brother-in-law.  there needs to be a company that goes after these people head on!  FYI:  IT IS ILLEGAL FOR COLLECTIONS AGENCIES TO CALL YOUR WORK!  IF THEY DO, THREATEN THEM WITH THE LAW AND DEMAND THEY NEVER CALL AGAIN!  if they continue i would call the law.

I just rec'd a message from my mom in law saying that they told her that they were with a law office and that a lawsuit had been filed against us (they never said it was for me or my husband). When I called them back they had zero information on either of us, but wanted our SS# just to double check (yeah right!). I gave the extension (124 Elizabeth) and they said she was unavailable but if I gave them my SS# they could have her return my call. Scammers! How can these a*holes be stopped?!?

I received a call from this number concerning my daughter, using her maiden name.  They left a message on my answering machine.  I intend to return the call & threaten them with a lawsuit.  I did try to call a few minutes ago, but it was too early in the day...they were not open yet.  However, the answering machine indicated that this number was associated with Evans Law Associates.  The woman who left the nasty voice message said that the name was Gomalski, or Gromalski...something like that.  GRRRRR!!!!

received a second call, one in april from Jennifer, one today from Mr, Deltrince, starts out with recorded msg. about needing SS#, then voice comes on to have my son contact them within 24 hrs. or have his Atty. contact them.
Figured it was some sort of scam. This web site is great.

This will make for an intresting story... These people called my EX mother-in-law's house asking for me, as my new name.  And wouldn't give her any type of information.  Needless to say good ol' mom gave her a piece of her mind.  And told them that if you can't give me any information, you don't need to call here, for her.  
First, let me tell you I would NEVER use anyone as a reference unless I asked first.  Second, I owe absolutely no one anything.  This sista ALWAYS pays her stuff.  This is just another one of those annoying "The factory warranty on your vechile is about to expire" calls.  Disregard these idiot's.  Besides, if you are that curious about who you owe money too, PULL YOUR CREDIT REPORT!  :o)  Hugs to all and good luck.

PS:  Agency's like this buys old debt for low prices say 10 cents on the dollar and then try scare tactics in hopes of retrieving the full debt or at least make some kind of profit.

I got a call from evans law associates. phone number is 1-866-591-8781 ext. 114. About a payday loan that I lost the paperwork on and could pay them without that info.  The guy I talked to is named Mr. Deltrince.  I do owe the money for the payday loan but I am not for sure if i should even try to pay these guys or not with everything i have heard form these people.  They kept on saying they needed money today or my bank or cc info today. I asked if they could call back tommarrow but they said if they didnt get an anwser today they would prosecute me for a hot check. what do yall think i should do just pay them or not?

a mr dumason called me saying i had owed 1,228.85 to a us bank a that they were to settle my account at 622.00 and if i didnt they would start garnishing my wages and more . they sent me a letter to settle so i did settle with them and i am now being sued by another collection agency for the same matter jason j evans associates screwed me for 622.00 that was the settlement and then told me my account was being sent back to riverwalk holdings where a mike shelton would have to handle this now they both have been giving me the run around and will not clear my case even though the settlement was paid in full and have money order #s to prove it I NEED HELP ON TRYING TO SETTLE THIS ALREADY WHO AM I SUPPOSED TO CONTACT ?????????

I just got a phone call stating I needed to have my attorney call them to settle a matter before further action is taken, i googled this number 866-591-8781 and found others with the same problem.

Two different guys have been calling my job but they have only been able to get my secretary.  She said they wanted to verify my employment and they were a law firm in New York.  So I was trying to see exactly what business this number was for.  I don't owe them a dime.

THEY CALL MY MOTHER AT WORK ASKING FOR MY SSN AND THAT I OWE THEM MONEY AND THAT I NEED TO CALL THEM ASAP, MY MOTHER ASKED THEM HOW THEY GOT HER WORK NUMBER THEY THE LADY  AVOID MY MOTHER QUESTION UNTIL SHE KEEP ASKING AND SAID THAT IS IS ON INFORMATION SHEET THAT FILLED OUT, MY MOTHER JUST STARTED WORKING THIS PLACE ABOUT A YEAR AGO SO THAT WAS LIE, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE PEOPLE.

i've been recieving calls from this company for some time.  i know it's a collection co. so i do not answer,  they are now calling my family members, telling them they are a law firm, and need to talk to me immediately.  what a bunch of b@#%@*%@.

Vincent Bowersfrom Evans Law Offices just keeps calling me with my reference number and was told I have 24 hours to take care of this. I have no idea what this is. I have a copy of my credit report and they are not even on it. Thanks to Bud Hibbs, I now realize these people are just scammers and trying to get money. I also have never received anything in the mail from these people.

I too received a call from this law firm, at work, telling me that a friend of mine (they gave her full name) was a sole respondent on a case and that my name was listed and that me or my attorney should call them back ASAP.  Is there anyone to complain to about this?

Some guy from this number left two messages on our answering machine for my husband.  He said he was from a law firm that had been forwarded the case and was trying to settle the matter.  We have not called them back....you'd figure they would get the idea - if we owe you money and we haven't paid you, IT'S BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THE MONEY!!!  Calling us every day will not make our income increase, people!  And thank God for caller id!

i got the same call both on my home and cell and it was the same person. Idiots i swear. i googled the number and got this. Now im relieved. isnt there a way to stop them from calling us like this.

message left on machine telling me that "someone" had filed a compliant against me and that my lawyer would need to be contacted to settle this complaint.  I returned the call, and gave them the case number that they had left on the machine.  I was put on hold and after much delay, was threatened by some big mouth concerning legal action that would be taken against me about money I owed. For the record, I owe no money to anyone or any company.
