I also recv'd a call saying that I am a finalist to win a Ford Explorer or a Lincoln Navigator. coming from this #. Also from Sam Key. They want me to sit in on a meeting at Cobb Galleria tomorrow night and listen to a new company's presentation then at the end I will get a scratch off ticket letting me know which of 4 prizes I have won....Getting very skeptical about all of this. Is this is scam? Unfortunately I I think it may be?!

they are still at it but working in Michigan these days.  Went to the seminar in Ann Arbor on 7/9/09.  Will report what I found out to Michigan attorney general.  Phone number has changed - they are now calling themselves

and their phone number is 866-393-3572.

Jim Blue has left me messages several times to let me know that I had won a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Rollover SUV. So I came to this site to see how many other people had won SUVs in sweepstakes they had never entered.  It looks like quite a few.

My call was received on Jan 9; called twice and left message.  Caller was Jim Blue, and number to call was 866-414-2022.  Caller ID showed number as 574-234-5459, and caller as Sweepstakes Promotion.  I know I didn't enter any contest to win a Ford Explorer or Lincoln Navigator in the past six months - or ever.  Was a very nice, and polite voice.  So being curious, I called the number.  "Blue" had just stepped out for a bite (it was about dinner time on east coast); so "Mike" took my call.  He thanked me for calling, and said they were volunteers working for the sponsor doing their part to help get the economy back on track.  He asked me to verify that I was in the West Palm Beach area (didn't ask for specific address or other info), and if I were between 35 & 75 years old and married; nothing more.  Didn't ask for any critical financial info.  Said I was one of 25 finalists, and winner would be announced within 72 hours, and gave me a confirmation reference - ITC SMG.  That was it.  I have since wondered if these people already had certain personal information of mine, and just were using this ruse to verify my phone number; which would presumably give credence to other information they may have had.  I'm thinking seriously about putting a fraud alert into the credit reporting companies.

Had a voice message.  Same deal about being a finalist in a contest (that I didn't enter) to win a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Explorer, but this time it is imperative that I call Pete Fox (maybe Sam retired) at 877-844-4386 x20

Sam Key left a message saying I was a finalist for a Navigator or Explorer. I said I never entered, and he told me my entry was from June and I either filled the form out on line or at a shopping mall.  I told him I didn't think so. The only personal information he asked for was my marital status, as he claimed I left that part blank. When I questioned him about how many people were in this drawing, he told me 25 and I would be notified inn 4 - 7 days. When a friend received the same message I knew I had fallen off the turnip truck yesterday.  So, I called him back. Funny thing is,  both times I called, I never talked to Sam Key.   My second call was not so nice. I told this guy I was on to them, and that I was on the National Do Not Call list and knew this was a scam.  I then said (in rather un-ladylike language that if anything was fishy with any of my accounts they would be sorry. I then was in mid sentence telling him I was going to report this company and he hung up on me.

I got the same call which was left on my answering machine and I called them back out of curiosity. I was told that I entered this drawing last year somewhere and wanted to know about how much money i make. Then he said about my husband and I. I said "wait, I'm not married!" Anyway, should I be worried. I can't afford to be scammed. Did I do wrong. I didn't give credit card info or anything. I'm nervous now. Please help and tell me what u think. Thanks

Phoenix, AZ.  8/28/08. Call me the Village Idiot, but I called “Sam” back to see what this was all about.  “Sam” was conveniently on a “management conference call” so I spoke with his assistant “Ted” instead.  “Ted” said that I’m a “guaranteed winner” of one of the four prizes: 1. Lincoln Navigator/Ford Explorer, 2. $2,500 cashiers check, 3. round-trip ticket, or 4. 32” tv.  All I had to do was attend a 90 seminar in Gilbert, AZ 6pm on 8/29/08 at some random address.  The seminar is being given by “Star Club” an “entertainment and travel company.”  But, don’t bother looking them up on the internet, because “Ted” says their website is “still under construction.”  He informed me that “you can’t just build a website overnight you know.”  Oh yes, Ted also told me that I need to bring either a passport, credit card or check book for ID.  Gee, maybe I should make it easier on them and just give them my cash.  I wish someone could figure out a way to scam the scammer…

I went to this promotional thing and listened to what they had to say, had a few laughs(my wife and I) and I walked away with a 32" flat television. Wasn't a bad deal for us...we spent nothing but gas getting there. I'd do it again....

I THINK HIGHLY THIS IS A PROMOTIONAL GIG, FOR ANYONE THAT OWES OR IS BEHIND IN CHILD SUPPORT...BECAUSE THEY ASK YOU TO VERIFY THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU OR YOUR SPOUSE BRING TO THE HOME YEARLY! TAXES ON THE NAVIGATOR YOU MAY OR MAY NOT WIN (OCCORDING TO THEM) WILL BE PAYED TO I.R.S.
THAT WHY THEY ASK YOU TO VERIFY INFORMATION OF MONIES RECIEVED...AND ONCE YOU DO YOU CAN EXSPECT TROUBLE???????????????? GOOD LUCK!

These people are bu***hit telemarketers, implying the people they are calling entered some sort of non-existent sweepstakes. These people are running a SCAM! Beware.

I got the same message on my voicemail, and he says it's imperative I speak to him. I should've not returned it because Sam Key really sounds like a weirdo! I called the number back and there was no Sam Key there but I talked to someone else and arranged a meeting with him. I needed two forms of ID, a drivers liscense and a major credit card. When I told him I didn't have a card he seemed pretty anxious to get off the phone. Really strange he said debit cards were no good.

Hello, everyone!

Did anyone actually go there or do you think it's scam because others think it's a scam? :)
They scheduled me for 7.45 tomorrow.
I'm not planning to attend, but still would like to know more about what kind of scam that really is.

I also got a call from Sam Key saying this was the last attempt to reach me regarding an SUV Sweepstakes.
The thing is, I answered the call and still got a recorded message, not the real Sam (squeaky....sounded like it could just as well have been an older female).

Yes, also recv'd a call saying that I am a finalist to win a Ford Explorer or a Lincoln Navigator.
With the message I have a Sam Key at extension 4786.

Looks like the Junk Mailers got pushed of the WEB so they are going back to the tactic or mass calling. Should you find a way to get in to "Sam Key's" database please DELETE all! and leave a virus that emails or calls "Sam Key" every...say 30 minutes.
